In a letter sent to Chapman’s US-based lawyer Robert Baum on Monday, Steven Hirsch, the Los Angeles-based president of Vivid Entertainment, said he wanted to make a movie with her.

“Anna was obviously the hottest spy we’ve seen in years and she was clearly the media’s favourite,” he wrote.

“Though she wasn’t very successful as a spy, we think she can be a terrific actress in one of our upcoming feature films.
