What if a conservative said it?

This struck me as a little close, in the “if a Republican said it” kind of way. Howard Fineman told KO that Barack Obama “comes from a country of long distance runners, and was one.” At the end of the conversation, Olbermann tried to rectify it by getting Howard to stipulate he meant “descended from”, but the whole “black guys who run fast” image still exists.
