Personally, some of the best soldiers I have worked with have become US citizens while in the military. My best tank commander was Egyptian, one my best supply sergeants was from Mexico, and one of the best special operators I ever knew was from Lithuania (and a former Young Pioneer).

So, as long as the standards don’t change, I welcome this policy.
