What Democrats Will Support In Order To Oppose Donald Trump

The list is staggering, really. And one need not go back to January to compile a collection of the most anti-democratic behavior and positions possible, all to save muh democracy. I can fill out this column with stuff just since Friday.

In June of this year, The United States Supreme Court issued a 6-3 decision in Mahmoud V. Taylor, in favor of parents objecting to sexually explicit LGBT material being used in school on religious exemption grounds. The case overturned the decision against both the rights of parents and the 1st Amendment's freedom to practice religion by a district court judge nominated early in Joe Biden's term. That judge's name? Deborah Boardman.

One might think that a leftist trial court judge getting spanked by the Supreme Court that hard would be the biggest black mark on her record. Wrong. On Friday, Judge Boardman ruled in the sentencing phase of the would-be assassin of Justice Brett Kavanaugh, Nicholas Roske.

Roske, in case you don't recall, left his home in Simi Valley, California after the Dobbs decision overturned Roe V. Wade and returned the abortion issue where it belonged - to each state's citizenry to decide. This was too much for Roske, who flew across the country and eventually arrived outside Justice Kavanuagh's Maryland home with a Glock-17 with ammunition, zip ties, a tactical knife, pepper spray, a hammer, a screwdriver, a nail punch, a crowbar, duct tape, a pistol light, and padded boots for stealth. This was not a spontaneous murder he was plotting.

Roske was found guilty by a jury of his peers. Federal sentencing guidelines for a crime like this vary between 324-405 months. The Department of Justice asked for 30 years, or 360 months, right in the middle of the sentencing guidelines. Boardman came back with 8 years, or 96 months. Why? Because sometime recently, Nicholas decided he was now trans and wants to be called Sophie. Boardman essentially threw all legal jurisprudence out the window and came up with this for justification.

Judge Boardman just gave every violent criminal defendant in the country a brand new court precedent to try - I can't do hard time, because the prison population would be too hard on my new trans identity. It's surreal.

The DOJ immediately appealed the sentence, because it's just lawless, but the damage may already have been done.

On Sunday, police arrested 41-year-old Louis Geri, a New Jersey man who was literally camping out in front of Saint Matthew's Cathedral in Washington, D.C., site of the annual Red Mass for the Supreme Court's first Monday in October return to work. Geri had Molotov cocktails, other explosive liquids, and fireworks in his test. Five will get you ten that if he had carried out whatever was percolating in his fevered mind, had he been caught and prosecuted, he would have pulled the trans rip cord to lighten the sentence.

The Schumer shutdown of the federal government enters its sixth day today, and Democrats are still trying to make you think it's not because they want to restore healthcare funding to illegal aliens. Even Kristen Welker of NBC's Meet the Press called bovine excrement on House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries yesterday.

But in a way, it's not just about covering the healthcare of illegal aliens. As Louisiana Senator John Kennedy showed on the Senate floor Friday, what Democrats want is so much more ridiculous than that.

In Chicago over the weekend, Immigration and Customs Enforcement got into a shootout, and put out a call for mutual aid. Chicago Police Department heard that call...and specifically ordered patrolling units not to respond

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker went on CNN's State of the Union with Jake Tapper, and naturally sided with the mob that attacked ICE.

When news broke out late Friday that Hamas had accepted most of the demands of Donald Trump to release all hostages, living and dead, and submit to a new governing body in the Gaza Strip, there was naturally a chorus of 'I'll believe it when I see it" from all ideological sides. Count me among the skeptics. I pray daily for the release of the hostages, but no one can or should trust Hamas. Period. But that's not what happened on the panel of CNN with Abby Phillips hosting.

Abby almost choked on her disappointment that if the hostages were freed, Donald Trump would be able to claim it as a victory. And she immediately turned to another lefty on set with her, Alencia Johnson, who wasn't celebrating the potential release of the hostages. She only wished someone else besides Trump would have negotiated it.

All this would be enough to show you how crazy the left has become and the lengths to where they will travel in order to oppose Donald Trump's positions.

But then, you get to the last 96 hours in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Polling in their off-year elections this November have consistently shown Democrat Abigail Spanberger with a comfortable lead over Republican Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears, as much as a double digit lead six to eight weeks ago. The very latest poll, however, shows the lead is down to five, knocking on the door of margin of error. And the race just became very, very fluid.

Virginia elects a governor, lieutenant governor, and an attorney general in a slate of statewide races every four years. Governors are not allowed to run for reelection, so Sears is trying to move up a slot, and Spanberger is leaving Congress to run the state for the Democrats.

Spanberger had already lost some bloom off her rose over the last week, because she is a verbal train wreck on the issue of males presenting as females being allowed to compete in women's sports and undress in women's locker rooms. Virginians, especially rural ones, hate this stuff. Spanberger is all for it, but can't quite say so in earnest, because it's a loser for her politically. Instead, she gives word salads that would make Kamala Harris proud.

It's excruciating, but now her problems just got a whole lot worse. Her Democratic ballot mate for Attorney General, Jay Jones, is doing everything in his power to tank the chances of the entire Democratric ticket.

Let's begin with his driving record. Jones was booked for excessive speed, clocked at 116mph on Interstate 64.

Now haven't we all driven 46 miles over the speed limit? What's the harm in a excessive reckless driving, right? But if you've been caught, I'm fairly confident you had to pay a pretty hefty fine, or worse. Jay Jones? He's a Democrat. There's different rules for Democrats. He got community service in lieu of jail time, and used half of it to work on his own political campaign

But wait, the Sham-Wow columnist adds. There's more! Audrey Fahlberg in the National Review got ahold of some very eyebrow-raising and disturbing texts from Mr. Jones.

This story broke on Friday. A political candidate for Virginia's top law enforcement office got exposed for fantasizing in texts about the murder of his political opponent, and killing his two children for good measure.

Jones has admitted the texts were his. He called his own behavior abhorrent...after initially trying to downplay it. Typically, when someone becomes this toxic, this quickly, the stink of death causes everyone else to move away. Not this time. Not this cycle. Not with today's ridiculously extreme Democratic Party.

Neera Tanden, former senior advisor to Joe Biden, was on Meet the Press, defending Jones' texts as 'just a private conversation'.

It was with a political colleague, and when the colleague wanted nothing to do with his fantasy, he called up to convince her that he was right. He was fully committed to this murderous fantasy. And still, Democrats are defending Jones.

Virginia State Senators Louis Lucas and Mamie Locke issued statements of defense of Jay Jones to remain on the ticket. Why? Because Trump is worse.

Sure, Democrats admit, fantasizing about mass murder is technically not cool, but have we talked about how much we hate Donald Trump recently?

Virginia Beach Democrats? They're all in...for the one who wants to murder his opponent and his family.

Don Scott, the Speaker of Virginia state House of Delegates, spoke in the pulpit of a church Sunday, and said this.

The person that Jones fantasized about putting two rounds in his head, and then offing his kids, was the previous Virginia Speaker of the House of Delegates. But that's just a distraction. 'Don't lose focus,' says Scott. The focus is how much we hate Trump and have to stop him...for muh democracy.

Now you might be wondering, how bad was this dude Jay Jones wanted dead, along with his children? In 2022, a former Democratic Virginia Delegate, Joe Johnson, died, At his funeral, former Republican Delegate Speaker Todd Gilbert gave a wonderful eulogy. In times long past, we called that bipartisanship. In Jay Jones' Virginia, that's a multi-generational death sentence. He engaged in the abhorrent text thread with another Republican former colleague, Carrie Coyner. So it wasn't just a "private conversation." It was with another political opponent, and Jones was browbeating her with his views.

Meathead himself, Rob Reiner, popped back up over the weekend, and offered this dire prophecy.

If you try to assassinate a conservative Supreme Court justice, so long as you're trans, you get a third of the time one gets when they fire 11 rounds from a semi-automatic rifle at the White House from 600 yards. Yes, that happened in 2014, and the shooter got 25 years.

If you turn your back on federal officers in a firefight, you're supposedly protecting democracy.

And if you get off on the mass murder of your political opponent and his family, so long as you're a good Democrat, you can go five days into the news cycle and not have a single Democrat pull their endorsement, because Donald Trump is a bigger existential threat.

But yes, Meathead, you just keep making the case that it's Trump that's wrecking democracy. I'm sure everyone still mourning the murder of Charlie Kirk for exercising free speech might have a difference of opinion, however.

This is the ad Winsome Sears is running down the stretch.

Don't let Democratic media fool you. This race is very fluid right now. Democrats may like wannabe mass murderers on their ticket. Suburban moms in the Commonwealth sure don't.
