What stories topped your priority lists this week? We started off discussing the Q4 GDP report and the Schumer Shutdown's impact on the economy, but quickly transitioned to the Supreme Court ruling on tariffs when news broke. Duane and I engaged in a heated debate – well, heated for us! – on the ruling and its potential outcomes. I covered some of that in my analysis post earlier, but Duane and I go further into the debate in this episode.
Will Donald Trump take action in Iran this week? We both believe that he'll wait until the USS Gerald Ford carrier group arrives in station, which is at least several days away. But Duane informs me of one big indicator why action may take place sooner. We finish with a brief discussion of the Perv Formerly Known as The Prince, and why Brits may actually rally to the royals in this moment.
