Ed: We don't miss him at all either. Or her.

Jeanette Vizguerra, 53, had been on her break at a Target store near Denver when immigration agents took her into custody, said Jordan Garcia, an immigrant-rights advocate with the American Friends Service Committee who has known Ms. Vizguerra for 15 years.

Recounting details of the arrest that Ms. Vizguerra had relayed to her family, Mr. Garcia said one of the agents told her, “We finally got you.”

Ms. Vizguerra drew national attention when, in early 2017, she packed her clothes and moved with her three youngest children into a church basement in Colorado, hoping that the sanctuary of a house of worship would protect her from Mr. Trump’s deportation plans. In 2021, she received a one-year stay of deportation from the Biden administration, but friends said Tuesday she was aware of her peril.

Ed: Yes, and her peril was self-created. She had time to exit the country and attempt to re-enter legally; the Trump administration even revamped an app that would have allowed her to do so. Vizguerra decided to make herself into a public figure, and now the NYT and the Left seem surprised that ICE and CBP had her on their radar.

Ed: Title IX applies to biological sex and requires equal numbers of opportunities for competition for both men and women in colleges and universities (and other schools receiving any federal funds). If Penn is allowing biological males to take women's places in competitions, they will fail that test outright and run the risk of losing access to federal funds. This is precisely how the federal government has always enforced Title IX. It's just that this administration is very enthusiastic about doing so.

The jury in the Feeding Our Fraud trial of Aimee Bock and Salim Said started deliberating at 9:00 this morning. They first had to elect a foreman and then vote on each of 28 counts on which the defendants were charged (7 against Bock and 21 against Said). I thought the jury would be out three or four days. In the event, the jury returned with their verdict finding defendants guilty on all counts within five hours. Judge Nancy Brasel then granted the prosecution’s motion to take defendants into custody. Sentences will be pronounced at a later date, but rest assured. They will be lengthy.

I have posted video of the prosecutors’ post-verdict press conference below. We owe the team seen here a debt of gratitude.

Ed: We owe Scott Johnson of Power Line a debt of gratitude for his tireless coverage of this case. He and Alpha News practically covered it by themselves outside of the Twin Cities, and for that matter inside of it at times, too. Tim Walz stood by and watched this corruption take place and didn't lift a finger to stop it, and the national media ignored it when he joined Kamala Harris on the ticket last year.

Ed: David will have more on this in the morning.

Child advocate Sarah Fields revealed Tuesday that nearly a dozen TikTok-obsessed Gen Z women were accusing Sisson of being a "player" who persuaded them to share explicit photos under false pretenses. At least one of the women has accused him of "grooming a minor." Sisson, who regularly touts his alleged concern for the rights and well-being of women, was widely denounced as a hypocrite who uses politics as a "ploy to try to get into their pants." Sisson was reportedly aware that some of the women he was mistreating were victims of sexual assault. Following Trump's election in 2024, Sisson condemned America for having "failed our daughters, mothers, and sisters." Meanwhile, the influencer's personal behavior towards women was rife with what most liberals would describe as "toxic masculinity."

For example, Sisson told one of his alleged victims he wanted to "[f***] [her] raw after wine tasting." He also came under fire in December for posting a selfie with Hunter Biden at the White House Christmas party.

Ed: Andrew Stiles writes about this in a satirical tone, but the allegations are real (although only allegations at the moment). Twitchy has been covering the Harry Sisson scandal as well.

“Snow White” doesn’t buckle under the scars of its pre-release woes, including the addition of CGI dwarves. The latter are fine, but given the live-action nature of the story, a merry band of actual little people would have been better.

The “magical creatures” teased in that pre-release production still appear, but they’re integrated into the story. They still add little and, occasionally, hold the story back. And why is one of those “creatures” a little person actor when Disney refused to hire other little people to play the dwarves?

Weird!

“Snow White” features a moment or two that might scare little children, but its morally pure heroine delivers on the story’s ageless appeal.

Ed: That's from my podcast partner and friend Christian Toto. He alerted me before the review went up that it would be "surprising." Christian is a conservative critic and also a very honest fellow. YMMV on this, of course, but don't be surprised if we start hearing 'comeback' narratives in the media. (And don't be surprised if we don't, either.)

Trump has thus, as I’ve written elsewhere, been able to get the Democrats to take the “20” side on 80/20 issues just by proposing common-sense policies on things like open borders, boys in girls’ sports, pervasive DEI, and the like. Voters like Trump’s policies even more than they like Trump, but the Democrats can’t help themselves: They’re driven to pick the losing side every time.

Bill Clinton would have triangulated and turned this around. (He won just two years after the Democrats last hit 27% approval!) The Democrats are long past Clinton, though. Gavin Newsom shows some inclination to do that, but he has too well-documented a track record to pull it off, especially now that national media can’t prop him up.

So what does this have to do with Elon? Several things.
