Tuesday TEMS: Andrew Malcolm, John Ziegler

Today on The Ed Morrissey Show (4 pm ET), we have another great lineup for the news of the day!

  • Andrew Malcolm joins us for Tuesdays with Andrew! The Prince of Twitter and I will discuss all of the hot political stories of the day.
  • Competitive Enterprise Institute’s Fred Smith previews a new paper being released tomorrow, “Reviving Capitalism,” written by Smith and Marc Scribner. The paper takes its lessons from “the near-death and rebirth of American [freight] railroads,” and urges business owners and investors to vigorously defend the moral legitimacy of free markets. We’ll discuss the issues and implications with Smith. UPDATE: We had a miscommunication with Fred, and we’ll reschedule this for another show.
  • Our friend John Ziegler returns to discuss two recent controversies: Ben Carson’s biography and his treatment in the media, and the Kathleen Kane prosecution and what it means in the Penn State scandal. As always, you can expect John to take provocative positions — so be sure to tune in!
  • John is the host of the nationally syndicated Sunday night radio show “John & Leah Show” on 20 stations (11 Salem) nation-wide.

The Ed Morrissey Show and its dynamic chatroom can be seen on the permanent TEMS page. Be sure to join us, and don’t forget to keep up with the debate on my Facebook page, too!

Get ready to pre-order my upcoming book about the 2016 election, GOING REDdue out in April from Crown Forum! We will have much more on this in the next few weeks, so stay tuned.

Want to get away in December? Join me at Bullets & Bourbon, a great retreat weekend to celebrate our Second Amendment rights. Bullets & Bourbon is a four day program on the Second Amendment at a luxurious hunting and shooting lodge outside of Dallas featuring new media superstars Glenn Reynolds, Dana Loesch, Ed Morrissey and several other noted speakers. It’s the first event by start-up company Full Digital Jacket, LLC. It’s a great way to meet and interact with your favorite New Media stars. And, well … me too.
