The ever-brilliant Michael Ramirez, two-time Pulitzer winner for editorial cartooning at Investors Business Daily, offers his version of a lonesome cowpoke on the trail in today’s entry.  Harry Reid called budget cuts proposed by Republicans “mean-spirited” in part because they would hurt an annual cowboy poetry festival in Nevada.  Ramirez tries to imagine the kind of poetry that would have meaning for Reid:

Well, that doesn’t quite rhyme, but then again, there’s nothing too lyrical about Reid anyway.  Too bad it will be another six years before that ol’ cowpoke rides his ass out of Washington.  Oh, come on, I’m talking about the donkey.
