Grayson: It stinks running in a gerrymandered district, or something

Really?  The big reason Alan Grayson gives for losing his seat after running one of the most despicable campaigns ever is … gerrymandering?  Just to clarify the issue, Republicans did win thirteen straight Congressional elections in FL-08, but Cook has it as an R+2, which shouldn’t be an insurmountable disadvantage for a good candidate. Of course, it’s easier to blame gerrymandering than his own bizarre decision to smear his opponent for his belief in Christianity by calling Daniel Webster “Taliban Dan.”  It was going to be a tough election for Grayson anyway in this environment, but Grayson’s own actions exposed him as a liar, which is what sealed his fate.
