Twitter war in Nevada?

I’m not sure which I find more amusing in this clip. Is it the fact that a local TV station spent more than three minutes reporting on sniping on Twitter after complaining that they would have to sit through 70 days of campaign commercials? Or is it the obligatory fingers-typing-on-keyboard shot that has been a hallmark of blog coverage on television since the inception of the blogosphere? Heck, why choose? KLAS breaks the scoop on “political Twitter” and the infighting between the Harry Reid and Sharron Angle campaigns (via Elizabeth Crum):

It does take a special kind of chutzpah to gripe about Angle’s hiring advisers out of DC on Twitter with a handle that references one’s own status as a Beltway denizen. That’s worthy of a good poke in the figurative Twitter eye. As for the rest of it, maybe the staffs of both campaigns need a little more supervised work, and maybe KLAS should hope for more campaign commercials, not fewer.

To that end, this new ad from Team Angle looks like the communication shop has been working overtime. They call it “the most tragic love story of our time,” but the real tragedy of this love triangle hits everyone but the three people involved. You have to love the saxophone riffs.
