What the Washington Examiner’s Nate Beeler forgot to mention was that the appetizer was Bailout Bratwurst.  The “too big to fail” philosophy that drove American corporatism on an ad hoc basis in 2008 and 2009 will get codified into law in 2010 with the Chris Dodd version of financial regulation reform.  Most Americans will find that too hard to swallow, especially after seeing Congress devour the health-care industry earlier this year.

The Obamas have begun a public relations effort to fight obesity in children.  How about putting the federal government on a diet first?
