I saw this on Saturday when Andrew Malcolm published Barack Obama’s weekend address, but Jammie Wearing Fool got to it first.  Obama just signed his health-care overhaul that will make millions of people dependent on federal subsidies in order to comply with a new federal mandate for purchasing health insurance.  He expanded Medicaid in order to make millions more eligible for Medicaid coverage, a welfare program funded by federal and state taxes.  So guess what lesson he claims to have learned from meeting Americans all across the nation?

“No one I’ve met is looking for a handout.”

Can you quit proposing them, then, Mr. President?
