No, this is not a rebuttal to the ACORN undercover videos from BigGovernment, but the second of two parts from the Center for Freedom and Prosperity’s Dan Mitchell, also of Cato Institute. Dan reviews empirical data comparing the Western democracies rated the most free nations on the size of their government and their relative prosperity. The US has the smallest government in the group, an accomplishment that Mitchell notes is not terribly impressive given the competition. However, the difference in relative prosperity in all different measures is indeed impressive:
