TEMS: Andrew Malcolm, Soraya's Navid Negahban

Today, on the Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), we have a great show lined up! In the first half, we’ll talk with Andrew Malcolm of the Los Angeles Times blog Top of the Ticket. We’ll discuss today’s press conference at the White House, and why Obama needed to get back in front of the press now. I’ll also ask Andrew whether the White House claim that Obama’s Cairo speech inspired the Iranian uprising holds water.

In the second half, we welcome via live video actor Navid Negahban, whose latest film opens this Friday at select theaters. Navid will tell us about his experiences in making The Stoning of Soraya M, in which he plays Soraya’s husband, the chief author of the evil. We’ll also talk about Navid’s impressions of the Iranian crisis as an Iranian expatriate, and what other projects he has on his plate. (Hint: He’s got a number of them!)
