Andy makes an interesting off-hand joke, suggesting that the Obama administration may release the Uighers in Gitmo later that evening to bury the news in a weekend cycle. Instead, they buried the news that they will likely restart the military commissions at Gitmo instead — which gives readers an idea what they believe is the kind of news that needs to be buried. They’d probably release the Uighers in coordination with the live broadcast of Countdown.
