Who’s this sharp moderate, praising welfare reform as one of Bill Clinton’s greatest achievements and a “wildly successful” program? Who is the man arguing that government distorts markets, picking artificial winners and losers, when it sends massive taxpayer subsidies to assist private corporations? Shouldn’t we have a man like that in the Obama administration now to push back against the bailout mentality and the dismantling of welfare reform? Oh, wait …

Yes, that’s Barack Obama’s hatchet man Rahm Emanuel, arguing for an end to corporate welfare. As Verum Serum points out (at the link above), he’s serving the President that just dismantled welfare reform in Porkulus and helping to shovel hundreds of billions to corporations.

Too bad the 2006 version of Rahm Emanuel appears to have totally sold out to serve Obama.
