Indiana Attorney General has launched an investigation into Planned Parenthood after an undercover UCLA student exposed practices of obstruction of justice. Lila Rose posed as a 13-year-old girl and videotaped her experiences at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Indiana, where a staff member advised her to lie about her sexual experiences and instructed her to go across state lines to get an abortion. Planned Parenthood fired the staffer but that may not be enough to avoid criminal charges:

Carter says if the investigation leads to criminal charges, it would be handled by a prosecutor. His office would handle any medical wrongdoing.
On Friday, Indiana’s Department of Child Services announced that it would not investigate the incident. The AG’s move carries more potential threat, however, with criminal prosecution possible. The question will be whether the clinic itself instructed the worker to offer that advice and to thwart laws intended on protecting children from sexual abuse. If so, Planned Parenthood may find itself in hot water throughout the state of Indiana.

The AG should investigate this if Indiana expects its health-care facilities to act in accordance with the law. Restrictions on abortions and reporting requirements for girls under the age of fourteen exist for good reason. The people of Indiana want to protect their children from sexual predators, and a 31-year-old impregnating a 13-year-old is an obvious example of that kind of danger. If the state allowed this blatant thumbing of the collective Planned Parenthood nose to go unanswered, those laws may as well disappear, as well as the protections put in place by Indiana voters for their children.
Addendum: In fairness, I’d like to see the whole tape made public. I doubt that there could be any extenuating context in this, but gaps occur in the video, as can be seen in the time code counter in the bottom right. I’m certain that Lila Rose will give the entire tape as evidence in any event, and that way we can have a clear and complete record.
