The Northern Alliance Radio Network will be on the air today, with our eight-hour-long broadcast schedule starting at 9 am CT. If you’re in the Twin Cities, you can hear us on AM 1280 The Patriot, or on the station’s Internet stream if you’re outside of the broadcast area.
- David Strom and Margaret Martin start us off with The David Strom Show, 9-11 am
- The First Team: Power Line’s John Hinderaker and Chad and Brian from Fraters Libertas, 11-1
- The Headliners: Mitch Berg and Ed Morrissey, 1-3 with live streaming video and chat
- The Final Word: King Banaian and Michael Broadkorb, 3-5.
Today, Mitch and I will be talking about the aftermath of the elections — the loss itself, what it says about the candidates, how the Republican Party has to change to compete in the future, and who the future leaders may be. We’ll also talk about the recriminations and what that says about the ticket and its staff. Expect to hear a lot of talk about the recount in the Senate race, and whether Mark Ritchie is playing partisan games with the election — and where we go from here in that task.
Also today, I’ll be appearing as a guest on The David Strom Show from 10-11 am CT. We’re going to be talking about the future of small-government conservatism in the wake of the Barack Obama victory.
