John Gibson Show appearance: audio Update: Another data point

My god, it’s full of flip-flops!

Last night’s interview with John Gibson turned out to be quite a bit of fun. The producers were kind enough to clip the audio for me, and the nine-minute segment can be heard from the player below. We discussed Barack Obama’s flip-flops and the Senate Intelligence Committee report, and John had some fun with the production.

Update: I received an e-mail from KFAQ’s Pat Campbell this morning regarding Jay Rockefeller:

Ed,

I caught you on John Gibson’s show the other night talking about Senator Rockefeller and the Senate Intelligence Committee report. A little background info on me. I’m a conservative talk show host in Tulsa, OK, prior to that 4 years in Orlando, FL at 540WFLA. Prior to the invasion of Iraq I was hosting a show in the Ohio Valley on WSTV 1340 in Steubenville, Ohio & simulcast on WOMP in Wheeling, WV. Because of the logistics I had a nice tri-state listening audience OH, WV & PA. Sen Rockefeller was a frequent guest on my show.

People who know me would describe me as extremely decisive, I almost instantly know what side of an issue I’m on, what’s right what’s wrong. With one exception the Iraq War. I really struggled with this issue. I am not a war monger I couldn’t justify attacking a country that hadn’t attacked us. Ironically, it was Jay Rockefeller that convinced me and many of my listeners that it was the right thing to do. I wish I had the audio of this but I don’t. Rockefeller, who was the ranking democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, came on my show & told me and my listeners that “based on the evidence he had seen [FYI the same evidence Bush had seen] the president was doing the right thing”. Now he’s changing his story!

Best,

Pat Campbell
