Surprise! Military hits recruiting goals across the board

Many media outlets have assumed that the military has a difficult time recruiting and retaining men and women during a war. The Pentagon released figures today showing that both recruitment and retention continue to meet or exceed goals for the year. Every service branch in both active duty and reserves have made their April targets as well as the year-to-date goals.

Congratulations on a job well done. Will this get much attention in the national media? We’ll have to wait and see.
