Today is the Michigan primary, in which the Democrat Party voters in Michigan decide whether Abdul El-Sayed or Haley Stevens is their candidate for United States Senate.
Campaigning on election day is all about turning out the vote, not persuading voters that you are the one people should vote for. It's about generating excitement among the people you need to actually go to the polls, so you throw out the red meat that gets people off their asses and into the voting booth.
So you throw out the red meat — tell the voters what they want to hear — and make your strongest pitch to the base.
So what do Abdul El-Sayed's voters want to hear?
That America sucks. That America deserved 9-11. That Mao was a great leader. That capitalist blood should run in the streets.
Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed thinks that America was founded on racism:

El-Sayed delivers the first part of the pitch: America is fundamentally a racist country; Hasan Piker delivers the closer as his proxy.

No doubt some Democrats would argue that Piker isn't exactly using those exact words while campaigning, but he doesn't have to; they are the reason why anybody knows his name. It would be like saying that people don't show up to meet Aaron Rodgers because he is a football player; it's the only reason they even know his name.
Hasan Piker has become one of the faces of the Democrat Party, and it's because he is a Marxist revolutionary. El-Sayed says he's not a Marxist, or even a socialist, but everybody he campaigns with happens to be one. And not just a Bernie Sanders or AOC-type, although he campaigns with them too.
It's Hasan Piker who keeps coming back. A fellow Islamist. A fellow America hater. A fellow wealthy revolutionary.
In a July 24 sermon, he called El-Sayed’s opponent, congresswoman Haley Stevens, a “puppet” of Israel and invoked tropes about Jewish influence and money, saying U.S. lawmakers support the Jewish state because “the pro-Israeli lobby” is “a cash cow.”

He also framed a vote for…
It’s primary day in Michigan, and left-wing insurgent Abdul El-Sayed’s Senate bid is getting a last-minute boost from a radical imam whom even Bernie Sanders has accused of “spreading antisemitic conspiracy theories.” The imam, Hassan Qazwini of Dearborn Heights, urged his congregants to “deal the Zionist a bigger blow” by turning out to vote for El-Sayed, @ChuckRossDC reports.
In a July 24 sermon, he called El-Sayed’s opponent, congresswoman Haley Stevens, a “puppet” of Israel and invoked tropes about Jewish influence and money, saying U.S. lawmakers support the Jewish state because “the pro-Israeli lobby” is “a cash cow.” He also framed a vote for El-Sayed as a “moral responsibility” and a “religious duty.”
El-Sayed has been campaigning in Islamist mosques, including ones where terrorism is promoted. Much of his appeal is antisemitism, although he is careful about how he frames the issue depending on whom he is speaking to.
The Organized Crime Democrats see which way the wind is blowing, and hope that they can develop a quid pro quo with the Bolsheviks. They will bow down to them, hoping to maintain their grift, and lusting after that all-important Senate majority that will allow them to impeach Trump.
Democrat Rep. Debbie Dingell pledges to support Abdul El-Sayed — who called to defund the police — if he wins the Senate primary.

FOX: “If El-Sayed is the winner will you endorse him?"
DINGELL: “I will endorse the entire Democratic ticket.” pic.twitter.com/ZqSP14JrYE
Michigan and Wisconsin are so important because they are the biggest test of the Bolsheviks' power within the Party. Both are swing states. Both went for Trump in 2024. Both have been trending Republican.
And, in both, the Bolsheviks are taking over the party.

Michigan may be about to become the BIGGEST POLITICAL SURPRISE of 2026!
Democrats haven't lost a U.S. Senate race there since 1996. But look at what's happened. Their winning margins have shrunk from double digits to just 0.3% in 2024.
Meanwhile, Trump carried the state in the presidential race.
Now Democrats are testing just how far left Michigan is willing to go!
Is this finally the year that 30 years of Democratic Senate dominance comes to an end?!
The Michigan primary is today, and El-Sayed is on a trajectory to win, and perhaps win big. Wisconsin is in a week, and right now all the smart money is on Hong. And as she has become the more likely winner, she has moved even farther left, confident that the DSA message is a winner with Democrats. She keeps saying that she is evolving, but also keeps trashing America and its traditions.

As things stand now, it seems more likely than not that El-Sayed and Hong will win big in their primaries and lose in the general election. It is also almost certain that most Democrats will flock to vote for both candidates in the primary and in the general election.
They want candidates with this message. They hunger for the America hate. They hate America themselves, and are willing to say so, which means that more and more Democrat candidates will move ever farther left to capture those votes.

This is where the Democrat Party is right now.
