I won't bother going into my spiel about why I believe Gavin Newsom to be more disgusting than sewer sludge. Either you see it, or you are blind, and what's the point of describing the color purple to a blind man, whether they consider themselves part of the gender binary or not?
Besides, I will no doubt rant about Newsom quite a bit as he runs for president, whether or not it makes a difference. I rant for a living.
Instead, I want to talk about his better(?) half, who turns out to be a total loon, a grifter extraordinaire, and probably more bigoted than Newsom, who seems to have no abiding principles or beliefs at all. Jennifer Newsom sounds like a true-blue AWFL with every luxury belief you can think of, and total contempt for people whom she has never met, and about whom she could not care less.
I got to thinking about this when I ran across this nugget online:

I didn't know much about Jennifer Newsom, aside from the fact that she is the perfect wife for Newsom. Blond, chirpy, and airheaded. She thinks of herself as a voice of the people, because her ideology tells her that she is, and an advocate of the dispossessed, which is why she runs a nonprofit (and for-profit) dedicated to spreading gender ideology.

And, like Newsom, she does very well out of it, having her hands in many pockets, a cushy office and state-paid-for staff, and a grift that rewards her mightily for being so virtuous.

- The nonprofit generates around one to $1.7 million annually in revenue
- She pays herself $150,000 annual salary
- Her for-profit company Girls Club LLC receives another $150,000
- So she's getting $300,000 annually to her and her firm, which is about 1/3 of the charity's income in recent years
- Over the years, these combined payments Amounts to over $3.7 million
“I don't think the Newsom's care about gender justice. I think they care about lining their own pockets and manipulating their voter base in order to get rich”
In addition, the state kicks in $2 million for the position of the "First Partner" of California, and, unsurprisingly, regulated industries are very generous to her NGO.

Newsom, you get the sense, will always be very liberal, but he also gives you the impression that he will go where the wind blows to ensure that he can keep rising up the ladder of money and power.
Jennifer is, as with all AWFLs, a true believer, and never consider for a moment any evidence that she or her compatriots are wrong.
