Over the past few weeks, a British version of Joan of Arc has been rallying the UK populace, and it is wonderful to see. 

Her name is Amelia, and you may have seen images or even videos of her if you spend any time on X. She is a hero to some, and the most frightening opponent of the establishment, who, ironically, created her in an effort to smear the "far right." Of course, if you are in the British establishment these days, flying an English or British flag is considered "far right," and criticizing Islam is blasphemy.

Amelia was an invention of Prevent, a government program to fight extremism. 


As you would expect, extremism from Muslims was not the problem they were focused on, despite the fact that Muslims commit something like 98% of terrorist acts and are spending an awful lot of time and effort talking about taking over Britain and imposing Sharia law. 

Councils in some British communities are talking about banning dogs, requiring the use of Halal foods in the schools, and, of course, we have all read far too much about how the government has abandoned young British girls to the tender mercies of the grooming gangs. As Brits have become more outspoken about the changing face of Britain, the government has been cracking down on free speech, and trying to train the younger Brits to stay away from any talk of British culture or nationalism. 

Amelia was a character in a video game—the antagonist whom we were supposed to hate because she recruited her classmates to wave British flags and oppose the Islamization of Britain. She was supposed to be the bad guy, and just as the left cannot meme, they certainly missed the mark on making her repulsive.

Instead, Amelia has become a sex symbol and the AI-generated leader of a movement. And the irony is that the people who are making the videos and memes have not had to change a thing about her. She says and does what the video game, which tried to turn her into a villain, portrayed her as doing, and people love her for it. She says what they would go to jail for saying. 

The establishment, both inside Britain and in the EU, is furious, as Amelias are springing up in other countries. It's hard to spew hatred and social opprobrium on an AI-generated character, and you sure can't throw her in jail. 

Pravda is pushing out article after article denouncing Amelia, calling her far right, hateful, dangerous, and...well you know the litany. She is fascist!

The thing is, Amelia is pretty mild. I bet if you got a bunch of ordinary Britons in a pub with no police around, you could hear much more denigrating things about migrants than anything Amelia would say.

But they can't say any of it in public without facing the wrath of the government. You can't even wave a British or English flag outside without getting labeled far right and put on a list of suspected terrorists. 

The British Establishment has a simple rule:

The problem is never the problem. The problem is people who dare to point out the problem.

Grooming gangs, illegal immigration, terrorism, men in women's prisons, Net Zero. 

Same playbook every time: "racist",  "denier", "Nazi".

You'd think when you're calling a beloved children's author a Nazi, you'd maybe stop and pause. But no.

Another part of the rule is that no matter how right the "bad" people turn out to be, they remain tainted by having been right.

Feminists like JK Rowling were vilified for opposing puberty blockers being given to children. The government rowed back on the policy. But the women who spoke out against it are still considered bigots.

Grooming gangs turned out to be racist anti-white hate crimes. If this had been done by an invading army, it would be rightly treated as a war crime. But the people who covered it up and ignored it are still the "good" people and the people who complained about it are still the "bad" people.

The same is true of illegal immigration. Islamism. Net Zero.

And this is why the country is screwed. Because we live in a society where the golden rule is that you must tolerate the intolerable or you'll be made a pariah for caring about the safety of British women and girls, for wanting a cohesive society, for wanting a strong economy.

I've had enough of this and my sense is so have the British people. We won't keep quiet anymore. Call us all the names you want. It doesn't work anymore.

There are so few ways for ordinary people to have their voices heard in Great Britain. Amelia has given them a voice, and that she had to be AI tells you quite a bit. A few brave souls will stand up against the tyranny—Rupert Lowe, for instance, or Tommy Robinson.

But for the most part people are cowed. And why shouldn't they be? Look at what they have done to Robinson or Lucy Connolly. You pay a very high price for dissent. 

But the reality is there for all to see, and Amelia is a modern-day version of Samizdat. Brava! 

And the meme is spreading...
