Celebrities and activists live to lecture us about their opinions on the moral issues of the day. If there is some evil they see, they are compelled to make speeches, wear pins, and march in the streets to make their voices heard and to incite others to action.
So it's no surprise that there was plenty of moral posturing last night at the Golden Globes, which, amazingly, some people actually watch. Since abolishing ICE is the current thing, plenty of people wore pins to make that point. And, of course, the fake "genocide" in Gaza still motivates these idiots; we got plenty of that, too.
But not a word or a symbol of support for the millions of Iranians who are risking their lives to free themselves from nearly five decades of theocratic tyranny.
I was waiting to hear what Mark Ruffalo would say about the massacre in Iran at the Golden Globes. Last year he and his celebrity friends were pretty vocal about what they called a “genocide” in Gaza during the awards season.

But you might be surprised to learn he had nothing to say about Iran. Ruffalo and other celebrities showed up at the Golden Globes wearing pins against ICE. One person did mention the Middle East, though - Hana Einbinder wore a pin supporting Palestine, just like last year. (Does she even know there’s a ceasefire in Gaza?)There wasn’t a single pin for Iran. Not one mention in any of their speeches about the massacre happening there. Aren’t they ashamed of themselves?
Most liberals have been keeping their mouths shut about Iran, despite the fact that by any rational measure, that government represents and implements just about everything they claim to hate. And as for activists? They are, in many cases, protesting against the Iranians in the streets.

There have been several clashes between protesters expressing support for the Iranians trying to overthrow theocracy and leftists whose cause is destroying Israel. Iran is the main funder of terrorism in the Middle East, and if Iran falls, so does their dream of destroying Israel and the West.
And yet hundreds of UK pols, academics and writers defended and signed letters supporting this dangerous fanatic only a year or so ago, including Corbyn, Chomsky, Ken Loach, Alexei Sayle, Roger Waters, Brian Eno and many more of the usual idiots.

This man was a Professor at Bristol University. Here he is demanding that the protests in Iran are liquidated, that no leniency is given to the hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions of extraordinarily brave people risking their lives to rid themselves of one of the world’s most oppressive regimes. To describe this as psychopathic is an understatement. But he has followers in the UK and is not alone. It demonstrates that people with this world view aren’t even remotely interested in human rights or ordinary people. They are interested only in power and governments. If a govt is anti Israel or anti west or anti capitalism, then it doesn’t matter what barbarity they inflict on their own people. That is why when these types of people get into power, everyone else is plunged into misery.
As thousands of Iranians are being gunned down in the streets, few liberals have said a word in support of people struggling to break free of tyranny. They are too busy trying to ensure that rapists and murderers are free to roam the streets of America.

People are being trained and paid to ensure as few of these people are arrested and deported as possible. ICE agents have been assaulted, and law enforcement officers killed, to ensure that as many illegal alien gang members as possible roam free on our streets.
