Some Call It Liberation, but in Reality It Is Degeneracy

No doubt there is a wider range of sexual norms that are compatible with thriving civilizations than those that are prescribed in Judeo-Christian culture.

If we could trust social scientists not to be completely infected with ideology, it would be an interesting area of study. And, to be fair, I am not familiar with the literature, and I am certain that there are some interesting works out there that would be worth looking at and comparing if I were curious enough to explore the topic. But honestly, I am not.

It seems to me that the norm should be heterosexual relationships between two individuals with the general intent to raise families, and that there should be reasonable levels of freedom to deviate from those in a manner that isn't an attack on that norm. What those limits should be is hardly as important as ensuring that the norm of couples getting married and having families is strongly reinforced.

If the tentpole is strong and well-secured, being battered by a little wind shouldn't worry us too much. If it is being hollowed out by termites, a breeze will bring it down eventually.

In other words, private deviations from the norm can easily be tolerated, while the celebration of deviations is a threat to the health and continuation of society. "Liberation" is a terrible idea, as is "Pride" or "Queerness" as an ideal.

While I am a Catholic, I am not arguing that this is true because it is God's plan, or that heterosexual relationships are clearly more in line with nature than other sexual expressions. One need not get all theological or engage in deep thought about evolutionary imperatives to see that the celebration of "Queer" identities is incompatible with the long-term survival of a civilization.

The existence of homosexuality itself is not especially a threat to the continuation of the species, as long as it is not the norm. There is plenty of evidence that homosexuality is not uncommon throughout history, although most of that evidence comes from various civilizations' "Golden Ages," which by definition occur right before civilizations begin to degenerate.

That, in itself, shouldn't be seen as a reason to assume that the one causes the other, in either direction. Golden Ages are the times that leave behind the most prominent and comprehensive cultural records, so of course, anything that deviates at all from the norm is most likely to leave a record from that time.

With that said, there does seem to be a correlation between loosening sexual norms and wealth. The less one is focused on survival, the easier it is to push the limits in other areas.

Whatever. That's not the point for me. However strict or loose you believe sexual norms can be and remain compatible with civilized society, there clearly are lines that should not be crossed, and we are crossing them by a lot.

In Liberal societies, it makes perfect sense to argue that private behavior is in most cases nobody's business. We tend to separate the social from the political, and while expressing your opinions and using social pressure to enforce norms is just part of what keeps a society going, the state should be very careful about getting too deeply entangled in such matters.

But alphabet ideology, and to a great extent "sexual liberation," is not really about private behavior. Two, or even a few people, going off to have a good time in private may please or offend you, but unless it is in your face, it really isn't your business.

But Queer ideology is explicitly about tearing down social and sexual norms and recruiting people into its ideology. It is aimed at making sex a matter of public policy, and it is being pushed in the public schools and the government.

It is also highly associated with violence and even terrorism. Queer ideology and violence are now inextricably linked.

We just learned that even Thomas Crooks, Corey Comperatore's assassin and the attempted assassin of Donald Trump, was drawn to the "furry" lifestyle

The whole point of "Queer" is to break down all social norms, because that is the path to liberation. And one of the key norms that needs to be broken is the barrier between adults and children engaging in sexual activity.

Children are the target that the alphabet movement is most focused on. It's not just the sterilization and mutilation of children, which will never become common enough to endanger our ability to reproduce our society, but rather a full-scale attack on all norms. If you can undermine the belief in the most basic realities of biology and social relations, you can make people believe anything.

Alphabet ideology is a revolutionary movement, which is why it aligns so perfectly with left-wing politics in general.

No society can survive a full-scale assault on its norms driven from a significant fraction of the social elites, and that is precisely what is happening.

Some are in it for the revolution, some for liberation of their bizarre desires, and a good chunk just want to have sex with kids or hang out in women's and girls' locker rooms.

The motivations matter if they are breaking the law or what ought to be laws, but the sociological reality is that the assault on sexual mores that affect children and families will kill society.

Letting degenerates loose to do what they want leads to societal degeneration.

Obviously, we have made some progress in beating back this movement, but I fear it is far less than we hope. One election does not a societal change make, and the Queer agenda is still going strong in elite circles.

We can't let up. Alphabet ideology is embedded in all our major institutions. Scott Weiner will soon be a Member of Congress. Socialism is on the march. We may not be losing ground as fast as before, but we aren't taking much ground outside a few areas where Republicans are strong.
