Maddow and Olberman: MSNBC Is Hotbed of White Supremacism

Conservatives have been saying for years that MSNBC platforms some of the most racist people in the Pravda Media--and until recently, the market for racism has been booming. So much so that the demand for racism exceeded the supply.

It was good to be Ta-Nehesi Coates. It was good to be Hannah Nicole-Jones. And it was good to be Joy-Ann Reid and the racists at MSNBC. What made MSNBC unique was that racism was its primary product, and even when it seemed to deviate from that frame, it always attached racism to ancillary topics like Trump is Bad Orange Man. One main reason was, of course, that he was a White Supremacist.

The fine folks in the "everyone is racist except people on the intersectional spectrum" are having a bad year, and MSNBC is in the worst trouble because their message isn't selling well.

So they are booting a bunch of low performers, including Joy Reid, and the racists who are left at the company and those who are their advocates are accusing MSNBC of being...racist.

This was totally predictable, of course, because the entire premise of your business is repeating the claim that "everything I don't like is racist," when the bosses do something that the "talent" don't like, the bosses are immediately labeled "racist."

If the ladies of The View lost their jobs, the claim would be that ABC is sexist.

The downside of building a business model like this is that bosses will eventually do something that pisses employees or their allies off. Thi s is 100% true in any large company, especially in a market that is currently very volatile.

The people being fired are low performers and, let's be honest, were hired and retained for their skin color and not their skill. The ratings reflect that, and when you are paying millions to somebody for being black, Asian, or their sexual preferences but no longer can afford the cost, you have to cut the low performers.

Virtue signaling is expensive. The proof that "diversity" being good for businesses and increase profits is obviously disproven by the simple fact that companies are running away from DEI now that it is politically acceptable to do so.

If it were true that hiring based on race, gender, or sexuality, businesses would keep doing it and could justify it by pointing to the results. Their policies weren't driven by pressure to be racist jerks but in pursuit of higher profits for their shareholders.

If it were true that DEI is good for business, they would fight to keep DEI as long as possible. Instead, the opposite is happening. As soon as they could drop, they did.

The biggest critics of MSNBC's firings are on MSNBC or from their former and disgruntled employees like Olberman, who clearly wasn't fired due to the color of his skin. If MSNBC had a white supremacist culture, he would have been protected from firing.

Reid's ratings dropped by nearly 50% post-election. Of course, she was on the chopping block. Her ratings sucked before, and post-election, they sucked twice as much.

But the "talent" is addicted to the racism narrative. That "people of color" were fired is proof that the company is filled with white supremacists,

Let the circular firing squad continue. Maybe they can hire David Hogg to fill the gap. That would be fun to watch.
