Sunday Smiles

Grok David Strom

We all knew we were getting ripped off by bureaucrats, but whoo, boy, it turns out that they weren't just heating buildings in Antarctica by burning $100 bills...

The federal government is a money laundering organization with a military and the Stasi attached.

Of course, it isn't just the federal government. Governments at all levels are like this to some extent or another. Our public education system is a money laundering organization; state governments are too; your city? Yep.

Sure, there is some performative governance and infrastructure building, but that is as much a smokescreen as a genuine service. Probably 40%-60% of the money that goes through the government pays for bureaucracy, graft, and flows out to lefty organizations that pretend to perform services.

And, of course, consultants. Like this:

Do you think that this is going to be good for the people of Pacific Palisades, or are they putting together a plan to remake the city in their image, using contractors with connections, send money to leftist nonprofits, all to come up with their 15-minute city version that exists to cement the power of the Establishment?

Karen Bass, by the way, is an actual, no-joke communist who admired Fidel Castro.

$500,000. Three months. To plan how best to screw the people who lived there.

California is renowned across the world--perhaps the universe--as the place where elites spend $60,000 in social services per tent for a homeless encampment, and shockingly enough we get more and more homeless people to be farmed for money funneled to nonprofits whose main job is to provide heroin to people pooping and dying in the streets.

USAID is the tip of the graft iceberg. I saw a Senator complaining (wrongly, I believe, since food and medicine are still funded through USAID) that $360 million in food would be cut off if USAID didn't start back up.

My thought? We spend $40-$60 billion on USAID, and the best argument to keep it open is that $360 million of all that goes to food for hungry people. That's a pretty impressive ratio of spending to benefit.

Senator Chris Coons is deeply worried that without $20 million in Sesame Street programs in Iraq ISIS will explode in influence. I guess those trillions we spent rebuilding Iraq worked well.

Now it is true that ISIS has yet to get ahold of our pre-teens, although even with Sesame Street here in the US, we seem to have a lot of American college kids who support Hamas, Hezbollah, and al Qaeda, so I am not certain that his point is made well. We have been breeding Jihadis here and funding them abroad.

Obviously, we can't get rid of the government, but the problems go way beyond "waste, fraud, and abuse." We have been living through a soft coup and need to take our government back from the 4th branch, which has been unaccountable to anybody but the left-wing elite.

The Deep State isn't going to acquiesce to this, and they still have enormous resources at their disposal through the NGOs they have funded. BLM turned out to be funded by USAID through the Tides Foundation, and no doubt Antifa is indirectly funded as well. When Democrats talk about fighting all this in the streets- and they have already been calling for violence--expect some violence.

You will be paying for the people who do it, unfortunately.
