Until last week, Donald Trump was the man who threatened to end the United States of America. I was assured this by all the right people, who spent endless hours musing about how he would destroy a once-great country.
He would create concentration camps, execute his enemies, round up all the minorities and put them in chains, and hand the world over to Vladimir Putin on a silver platter.
He was Hitler, Stalin, and Mussolini in one. I am not sure why the establishment left Mao out of the mix, but my guess is that Mao is actually their hero--although I really think of them as more in the image of Xi Jinping myself.
"Just this week, when Trump was swaying to music at a surreal rally, he did so in front of a huge slogan: Trump Was Right About Everything. This is language borrowed directly from Benito Mussolini, the Italian fascist," @anneapplebaum writes. https://t.co/JBFsmwo0xS

As Elon Musk notes, this is a reflection of how insane the left is and says nothing about Donald Trump.
Elon: “The far-left press has been going on and on about how Trump is like Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin combined, and you rolled them all into one, and he's somehow worse than all three of them combined. “pic.twitter.com/HUHEP6b60b

The level of gaslighting we experienced during the election cycle (and, by extension, over the past nine years) is as off the charts by as much as the difference between SpaceX launches and all other companies and countries. There is no comparison to anything else in my lifetime.

As with Joe Biden's debate performance, which pulled the curtain back to show the senile man behind the curtain, Biden's meeting with Trump at the Oval office today showed everybody just how bad the gaslighting has been.
Unless Joe Biden and the Executive Branch of government is OK with handing over the US military, our nuclear arsenal, and all the power the federal government has to offer to LITERALLY HITLER™, it was all just talk--as we know it was.
Wow Biden met with Hitler 2.0?!

Weird.
I shouldn't call it "just talk," though, because this long-running campaign to destroy Donald Trump and, by extension, his supporters has been anything but benign. It has been a psychological operation that has divided the country, caused enormous mental illness, inspired two assassination attempts, and sown distrust for our institutions that may never be eliminated.
Like the pandemic lockdowns and all the insanity, our basic institutions proved themselves to be fundamentally aligned against the interests of the American people. It will take decades to recover if we can.
Already, I have read about murders, murder-suicides, and mental breakdowns caused by the steady stream of propaganda irresponsibly spewed by the Establishment toward MAGA. Trump, obviously, thrived on the conflict and prevailed, but people made of less stern stuff have been driven mad by a campaign to make them believe Americans are racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, and xenophobic.
New "How to talk to your MAGA relatives at Thanksgiving Dinner" just dropped https://t.co/PxE5vfKU83

If you convince people that Trump is Literally Hitler™, that makes his followers Nazis. And it's no surprise that people hate Nazis and are afraid of them.
What the Democrats and the media have done to Americans has been vile, even evil. In order to maintain their power, they sacrificed their fellow citizens.

If there is an irony here, it is that Joe Biden is likely happy about the outcome. He may have spent the past 6 or so years railing against Trump and claiming he is a Nazi, but there is somebody he hates far more than Donald Trump, and that is the cabal who kicked him out of power. Biden, too, was willing to portray Trump as Hitler when he was a rival for power. Now that Trump defeated Joe's real enemies, he's all smiles.
Jill sure is a lot happier than when she was next to the vp.

Look how happy Joe Biden is sitting next to Donald Trump at the White House right now.

Even Biden is happy Trump is the 47th President. pic.twitter.com/kaUx8vOxo2
I am not particularly in the mood to forgive this outrageous attack on Americans, but I find myself accidentally on Joe Biden's side on this one thing:
Schadenfreude is delicious.
