Now For Something Completely Different

I am sitting here in the dark--yes, my power just went out--nervous as I can be about the election, so I decided to think about something else to calm me down.

Didn't happen. My blood is boiling, just not about the latest Kamala Harris/Democrat hoax.

In this case, it is about the totally unsurprising but still infuriating story of the man who beat up women at the Olympics.

You certainly remember the controversy about Imane Khelif's beating the hell out of women in the female category of Olympic boxing. The Olympic committee insisted that there was no scientific way to determine the sex of an athlete--yes, they did say that--and Khelif was listed as female on his passport. So he could compete as a woman at the Olympics.

Anybody who objected to the obscenity of the Olympics promoting a man beating up women was vilified, slandered, attacked as misogynistic or transphobic, and held up to public ridicule.

Richard Dawkins was kicked off of Facebook for saying the obvious. We live in a world where a Facebook moderator kicks off of Facebook one of the most prominent scientists in the world over a question of biology.

Nobody doubts that men are stronger, faster, and punch much harder than women, which is why we have separate categories in the first place. The International Olympic Committee, standing strong with their alphabet allies, defended Khelif because failing to do so would undermine the Narrative™ that self-identity is truth.

Well, it turns out that Khelif is not only a bearer of XY chromosomes but is fully male in every way that counts in sports. He has male testosterone levels, testicles, and a "micropenis." He suffers from a male-specific disorder of sexual development and is as female as I am.

The IOC knew that because they had a medical report stating that. The leaked report is, one would say, scientific basis for determining that Khelif is a man, even if Vogue says he isn't.

Who are you going to believe? The Truth or the Experts?

We all knew what was just confirmed: the International Olympic Committee put a man in the boxing ring with women, gave him a gold medal for doing so, and lied about what they knew. For political reasons, they sacrificed the safety of women and the integrity of their sport and vilified everybody who told the truth because the truth doesn't matter. Their ideology trumps all.

This is where we are: in a struggle between the people who want to turn reality on its head and impose their seemingly insane view of the world on the rest of us. I say "seemingly" because there is a purpose to this madness. They need us detached from any grounded reality and dependent on them for a constantly changing version of reality.

We need permission to believe anything. They know what they are doing. That is the essence of Critical Theory: destroy reality and make everybody look to the "experts" to see what they must believe.
