I have been saying for some months that this is the testosterone vs. Estrogen election.
I am, as usual, clearly right.
OK, not CLEARLY right, but probably right. However, I should add that plenty of women will vote for Donald Trump. Strong, intelligent women certainly will in great numbers.
As much as I have warned about taking data points coming out this late too seriously, it is impossible not to look at them. Ed's post on Atlas Intel's poll should raise some eyebrows and fuel some hope for Trump supporters, as the numerous reports of large female leads in early voting should concern them.
According to NBC News, nearly 60 million votes have already been cast nationally -- and women are outpacing men by 10 points.https://t.co/YebVF2uLTh pic.twitter.com/zAqLw2evG1

As with any demographic group, every individual is unique. So, we can't assume that every female voter will break for Kamala Harris. But as with every stereotype, there is often more than a grain of truth expressed by those stereotypes.Women, as a group, do tend to support Harris more than men.
Hence, my estrogen vs testosterone analogy.
Early voting in swing states by sex.

1) Women are dominating.
2) Men need to get their asses to the polls or Kamala wins. pic.twitter.com/ZIDbJqdu8u
Both campaigns are very aware of the split because the gender gap is likely to be the largest ever seen. Harris's final pitch is made primarily to women, while Trump's is more generic to appeal to both sexes. Yet his "vibe," as they say, is Alpha male, not Doug Emhoff/Tim Walz effeminacy.
Two things that could prove the polls quite wrong are overcorrection of underrepresented Trump voters and the increased volume of early voting women over men.

In all states women are outvoting men by 10% in the early vote. This is being tied to Roe v. Wade for obvious reasons. pic.twitter.com/yGuxow39YA
The polls look very good for Trump, and clearly, both campaigns think Trump is likely ahead and acting like it. But Harris is pushing hard through her surrogates to push the "secret ballot" messaging to encourage women to buck their family and cultural ties to secretly vote for baby killing.

Is this successful messaging? Until the votes are counted, we really haven't any idea. Strong Republican women are offended, but what about the suburban wine moms and low-information single white women?
Women do tend to vote in higher numbers than men, although not usually by this much. On the other hand, men have traditionally (as if there are enough sample sizes in the real world to determine) vote more on election day for whatever reason.
Will these numbers hold up? Do they say what many people think? Do they mean anything at all? Do these people even know what a woman is?
We'll see. But if you are looking for a reason to be nervous, this could be one of them.
Men: go out and VOTE, and drag a buddy with you.
