I don't know what the vote counts will be, whether they will be mostly accurate, what shenanigans might take place or not, or whether the obvious preference cascade will carry Trump over the top next week. 

But one thing I do know for certain is that if Donald Trump wins, the violence and rioting will be off the charts. 

The mainstream media and the Democrats like to memory-hole the fact that rioting was significant after Trump's 2016 victory, and that was well before the "Trump is Hitler" narrative began being sold to us. In those days, he was a sexually harassing buffoon with a bit of Russian agent thrown in.

The riots in 2024 will make those look quaint. We all know that, and leftists even wargamed this, casually assuming a mass uprising and a military revolt against the president. 

One might assume that Democrats believe their "Hitler" language, OR one might wonder whether they are preparing the ground for keeping Donald Trump out of office through extraordinary means. The first assumes that the Democrats are merely insane; the second assumes that they are either insane, desperate for power, or outright evil. Or all three, perhaps. 

The FBI and DHS are trying to label conservatives as a threat.

There is a lot of weirdness going on. In addition to the lawsuits forcing states to knowingly keep illegal voters on the ballot being pushed by the Justice Department, there are now warnings being put out by the Intelligence "Community" that "insider threats" are planning to disrupt the election. We even saw attacks on ballot drop boxes in conveniently Deep Blue states.

While the memo put out didn't specify WHO was threatening the integrity of the election, the media pounced on the report to imply that Trump supporters were determined to disrupt the election.

MAGA! Just who I would have thought of, given how violent Trump supporters have been this year. Waving Hamas flags, attacking Jews, taking over buildings, and applauding mass murder. Republicans are known to riot at the drop of a hat.

Over the past few weeks, Democrats have been claiming that Trump will seize power should he lose, as if Trump has the ability to do so. They spin dark conspiracies about plots that will result in Trump taking over the Oval Office, as if there is a single scenario in which he could do so. 

The January 6th riot was a Godsend for them, allowing a narrative to be built that Trump was trying to seize power. On its face, the claim is absurd for so many reasons, not the least of which was that the January 6th event was purely ceremonial, involved what amounted to paperwork, and TRUMP WAS ALREADY IN POWER, so if he were trying to be a dictator, he didn't need any stinking paperwork. 

The idea that Trump could, from Mar-a-Lago, seize the nuclear codes is so absurd as to be beyond consideration if you are rational. 

But Democrats control the means of communication, with the exception of Twitter/X, and keep pounding the idea that Trump is a threat. He will send Seal Team Six after people. Concentration camps are on the verge of being built!

When a leading Democrat says he has a plan to prevent Trump from becoming president, believe that he has a plan to prevent Trump from becoming president. There are lots of people openly talking about how to do so. 

First they tried to take him off the ballot. 

Then they tried to bankrupt him. 

Then they tried to put him in jail. 

Then SOMEBODY tried to kill him, twice. 

Then they performed a soft coup on his losing opponent and installed a new contestant, who is now failing. 

Now? I don't know. But I am long past the point where I am willing to give Trump's opponents the benefit of the doubt. 

What I HOPE happens is that there is a free, fair, and uncontested election and that the power transfer is peaceful. We go to our separate corners and fight about policies like gentlemen. 

I don't expect that. Neither should you. Stay frosty.
