How would liberals escape a "Trumpian hellscape?"

Move to Canada, assuming they would open the border to Americans After all, Canada's immigration policy clearly states that "non-citizens do not have an unqualified right to enter or remain in Canada." Is it possible that Canada's immigration laws would prevent liberals from escaping Trump's fascist regime and might be forced to stay in the United States?

POLITICO interviewed some Michigan liberals who truly seem to believe that Trump is about to implement the vision from the Handmaid's Tale and force women to reproduce, wear red robes, and be raped nightly before being carted into camps for extermination.

It's a bizarre world they describe. An alternate universe in which their fellow citizens are just itching to put them into camps. Perhaps this is a projection--after all, during COVID, liberals were fantasizing about putting the unvaxxed into quarantine camps, leaving them to die in the streets and rip children away from their families.

They don't seem to understand that the groundswell for Trump is a cry from ordinary Americans: LEAVE US ALONE! Liberals spend all their time trying to figure out how to suppress conservatives and truly can't imagine a world where the other side is perfectly willing to let the leftists chop off their own genitals as long as they stay away from the children. 

Anxiety — and honest-to-God fear— has replaced joy on the trail for fretful Democrats 18 days out. Harris didn’t even say the word in her remarks. Instead, she described at least three times a “fight.”

“The election is here right now,” Harris said. “We have to energize and organize and mobilize and remind our neighbors and our friends that their vote is their voice.”

And not long after she walked off stage, voters here were contemplating what they would do not just in the days before they make it to the ballot box, but after if their preferred outcome didn’t materialize.

Some were weighing voting with their feet.

“Oh, God, she has to win: I don’t want to live in a Trumpian hellscape,” said Erin Conklin, a 62-year-old retired homemaker and artist. “We might have to leave: Canada, if they’ll take us.”

“Truthfully, I have thought about moving out of the country,” she said. “I’ve also thought about having to marry a friend in order to protect my assets as a single woman.”

Why?

“Like a male friend — in order to make sure my life is protected, because I feel like we’ll be going to times where we need male permission to do everything.”

Mary Harig, a 64-year-old retired registered nurse who wore a “Cat Ladies for Kamala” T-shirt, had progressed even further in her talks with her husband, who didn’t have long left as a postal service worker before he could retire.

“We’re close enough to Canada,” Harig said. ‘“And my husband has said, too, ‘We cannot take another four years of this.’ And if this does happen, we will go to Canada.”

It's ironic since Canadians are pretty much done with leftist rule. Two-thirds of Canadians hate Justin Trudeau with the white-hot passion of titanium being smelted. Fidel Castro's son has a lower popularity rating than Joe Biden, so I am not sure that Canada is the promised land they hope for. 

Although chances are good that they can still kill themselves in Vancouver, the suicide capital of the world. So they have that going for them. 

As I have written before, there is a serious mental health crisis in America--albeit one that has been exacerbated by a corporate media that is working overtime to gaslight Americans into believing that Joe Biden is "sharp as a tack," J.D. Vance is weird, experimental vaccines and drugs are safe and effective, and fascism is coming to America.

Of course, few of these insane people would really move from America. It is too good a place to live, and nobody is going to round them up and fire up the gas chambers. Three years from now Morning Joe will still have insane people warning of dark things on the way. 

Still, I think many of these people believe what they are saying, just as they believed the Grim Reaper was coming for them unless they wore masks while eating. 

We joke about Trump Derangement Syndrome, but it is a real phenomenon. And because it is real, millions of Americans want to censor you and me, and more than a few are deranged enough to consider violence against their fellow Americans. They see Lincoln Project hired "Nazis" and believe that Donald Trump is, in the words of Anne Applebaum of The Atlantic, "Hitler, Stalin, and Mussolini."

The Establishment WANTS people to be deranged because scared people are easier to control. See COVID hysteria if you doubt me. An entire regime of censorship, lockdowns, school closures, and mask mandates was put into place and a vast swathe of the country complied without complaint. 

Worse, they attacked anybody who dissented. Tim Walz created a snitch line for citizens to report their neighbors for having backyard get-togethers.

If Trump wins, will the fever break? I doubt it. In 2016, violence broke out, and in 2020, BLM protesters stormed the White House. To this day you can't buy spices from Penzey's without getting a lecture about Trump.

The fact that nobody is preventing them from venting their rage and not one person on the left has been sent to a concentration camp for attacking Trump is not a refutation of the claims that Trump is a fascist because there is no rationality left in these people. They are brainwashed. Literally, there is no independent thought left. 

It's almost sad. Or it would be if these people weren't trying to censor me.
