Trump Should Go to Springfield

Everybody is talking about Springfield, OH. While the mainstream media is focused on the controversy over cats and dogs being eaten (unproven, but not impossible), there is no question that residents of the city are suffering under the weight of too many Haitian migrants being crammed into a city too small and underfunded to absorb them.

To put the problem of the residents into perspective, Mayor Adams has said that New York City is being destroyed by the influx of about 100,000 migrants, which amounts to one for every 830 New Yorkers.

Springfield is dealing with an influx of one Haitian for every three residents. Think of that. One out of every four residents of the city is a Haitian migrant imported over the past four years. These people don't speak the language, get government subsidies, are taking housing from local residents, and have been driving down wages. There are also undisputed reports of Haitians decapitating geese in the park and disputed reports of pets disappearing and perhaps being eaten.

As much as we love our pets, whether they are being eaten is the smallest of these problems, but the only one the MSM cares about. If the reports are "debunked" (none of these MSM folks has bothered to visit and investigate, claiming a single phone call to a city manager is sufficient to remove all doubt), so what? The matter isn't closed because the issue is not cats and dogs, but the suffering of the residents of Springfield, who are feeling beset by the takeover of their city.

The media doesn't care about the people, but Donald Trump should make them. Make the media "debunk" the reality of real people suffering, proving that they and the Establishment don't care a whit about them.

As I wrote yesterday, J.D. Vance nailed the answer to a smug reporter's question about the 'debunked' stories. Not one of these reporters cares about real people, just notional cats. They are arrogant, uncaring regime propagandists who think quoting a vague quote from anonymous government officials is "journalism."

Trump could highlight both the plight of the residents and the uncaring nature of the media, and put an exclamation point on the indifference Kamala Harris showed to real people facing real problems.

People who are not experiencing the JOY! of her campaign.

People are quite literally dying in Springfield because the Biden/Harris administration doesn't give a crap about them. There is no doubt that many Haitians are suffering--Haiti is what Trump famously called a "s**thole country." The poorest and worst-governed country in the Western Hemisphere.

But American politicians are elected to protect AMERICANS, not Haitians. We have our own problems, and taking care of Haitians is not in the job description.

That our Elite think taking care of foreigners is more important than looking out for American citizens is precisely the reason Donald Trump is the Republican candidate and quite likely to get elected for a second term.

Harris and the mainstream media care only about non-Americans and their own class of the "right" people. As Elie Mystal put it on MSNBC,

Trump has an opportunity to shove all this in their faces. The only thing the media cares about is cats. He cares about people too.

Make them eat their words or suffer the consequences of Americans' rage at our helplessness.
