Here It Comes...

The debate is coming up right after this post, so it seems silly to post about news or make predictions right before the biggest event in 2 months.

But that's the job, so I am here to try to pique your interest.

Got any ideas?

Seriously, this debate is for very high stakes. While I personally think Trump is in a very good position right now and that Kamala is fading, the forces of NeverTrumpdom are very strong and numerous.

That's why you should definitely take advantage of our 60% off debate special for joining our VIP program. Seriously, you should. We need your support to keep publishing. Big Tech and the nonprofit censors are ramping up their election interference, and one of their tactics to to demonetize conservative media.

Kamala has everything to gain and everything to lose in this debate, which means that the pressure will be on for her. Trump hasn't much to lose but a lot to gain if Kamala implodes, so the dynamics will be fun to watch.

Trump's June debate showed that Trump has the capacity for self-control, which is otherwise his Achilles' heel. He tends to run on, ramble, and showboat. This works well in his rallies and horribly at other times. If Trump is self-controlled and keeps his punches to quips, he will be well served.

Kamala's risk is simple: she has to become somebody else for 90 minutes. Even with all the help in the world from the debate moderators, she will still have to come off as intelligent, well-informed, and ready for the presidency. Unfortunately for her, she is none of these things.

Still, the debate format plays more to her strengths than Trump's. She has time limits, so she only has to repeat scripted lines for the most part. But can she do it for 90 minutes? Everybody will be holding their breath.

Kamala has been running to become America's next chef, not the President of the United States. She can't do that tonight, and she will have no emotional support buffoon to sit next to her.

I have no predictions, because they are pointless. We are about to see what will happen so we might as well get down to doing that. Enjoy our live blog!
