Media Goes Apoplectic Over Springfield Haitian Stories

I'm getting tired of saying the obvious: you don't hate the MSM nearly enough.

The latest example of media malpractice is the brou-ha-ha over what is happening in Springfield, OH. Springfield is (was) a town of 60,000 residents in one of the reddest areas of the country, and the Biden administration has flooded the city with 15,000 to 20,000 Haitian "refugees."

On this fact there is no dispute. Kamala Harris is very proud to have imported these refugees into the country, and it seems beyond strange that the Biden administration has increased the population of the town by a third by flooding in third-worlders. Mayor Adams of New York City is screaming bloody murder about not that many more illegal aliens coming to his city, and New York's population is 8.3 million.

When stories of Haitians camping on people's lawns, murdering people's pets, and killing ducks from a local pond surfaced over the weekend the mainstream media went into overdrive to "debunk" the stories. They seized on the questionable (meaning unproven) allegations that cats were being eaten in order to claim that no stories coming out of Springfield were true.

None of them visited Springfield, of course, to ask the residents what they thought. They took some rather mushy statements from the police as "proof" that Springfield was being enriched by diversity.

Residents of Springfield would beg to differ, although the MSM doesn't care about their experiences. They have bigger fish to fry because they need a side dish to eat along with Kamala Harris' bathtub collard greens. For months residents have been complaining about deteriorating conditions in the town, and before the Harris folks told the MSM to "debunk" these stories even the government officials from the town were complaining about the burdens being placed on them by this flood of Haitians.

There is no dispute that Haitians have been a plague on the city, increasing crime, depleting social service resources, and even injuring and killing children.

Residents indeed have been complaining about pets disappearing, and the lack of arrests doesn't prove it wasn't happening. If the reporters went to Springfield they could ferret out the truth, but instead they run interference for Harris. Haitian migrants are GOOD, despite Haiti being the worst hellhole in the Western Hemisphere.

What really blew things up was J.D. Vance wading into the story once again. He has been working on this issue for months, and the media ignored the problem until the connection to the presidential race made it float to the surface.

When Vance made his tweet the bat signal went out to every MSM outlet in the country: "debunk" this right away. Comrade Kamala needs our help.

They didn't care when it was out of the limelight. Now that people are focused on it the Republicans must be accused of perpetrating a hoax.

The debunking efforts are the hoax. I don't know whether cats are being eaten, but the suffering of people in Springfield is indisputable.

As much as I love cats, they really aren't the issue: the issue is 20,000 Haitians being dropped into a town of 60,000. If this had happened to the reporters they would be up in arms, but they know that the Establishment will only do this to defenseless and "unimportant" people, so no big deal.

The real lesson of this episode, at least with regard to the MSM, is that they protect their own and hate the rest of us. They see this as a tempest in a teapot because it is happening to small-town Republicans, not important people like them.

The mainstream media is not only indifferent to the truth; more importantly, they are indifferent to the suffering of their fellow Americans.

Kamala Harris has more empathy for the suffering of far away strangers than her fellow citizens. No doubt life is better for the Haitians now that they are in Springfield. After all, any place is better than Haiti, perhaps even Gaza.

But our representatives are supposed to look out for Americans, and they simply don't care.
