It has been over a month since Kamala Harris has done a press conference or sat down with a member of the "news" media.
She is so afraid of even the friendliest media outlet that she almost runs away when confronted with a question. And since every media outlet save Fox News is desperate to help her, that says everything you need to know: Kamala Harris is just bad at the most basic political skill: talking coherently and persuasively.
Sure, she can give a teleprompter speech and do it well. But those aren't the words of Kamala Harris; they come from an anonymous group of speechwriters who apparently will soon be a Borg collective who run the country. We will all be assimilated, including Kamala Harris.

There are occasional grumblings from some media folks, but overall, they think Harris' relative silence is smart politics. The best way to hide her vacuity is to let her remain a generic meat puppet since, apparently, a lot of Americans are fine with generic meat puppets. Joe Biden, after all, fit the bill, and he is barely alive at this point. His role is to sniff, shout, and whisper while others run the country.
Since the Deep State runs everything, a person with an actual will and a brain is inconvenient to have sitting in the Oval Office. If there is a Harris/Walz administration, God forbid, they will just keep her well-lubricated and cackling through history.

Joe Biden's occasional fits of willfulness have been an inconvenience, so Harris' willingness to remain completely silent has turned out to be an asset. She is the actor in a movie, not a genuine person. The campaign is actually hiring actors to play voters, kicking patrons out of restaurants, and playing bit roles at events.

Even her endorsement from Obama was staged, as was her "call" to Tim Walz inviting him onto the ticket. Her "interview with Walz" that was supposed to introduce the pair was staged, as has her vignettes portraying her as a "real person" on the road.

This is the future if the Democrats maintain power. One vacuous moron after another, acting as a puppet for the communists who are aching to finally own the country. One of the most prescient lines from a Ronald Reagan speech has haunted me for decades because it is precisely right:
“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”
We are at that point where freedom is on the line, and I am genuinely worried about losing that fight.
