NYT Promotes Great Replacement Theory

This really is hilarious.

For years, we have been treated to lectures about how racist and xenophobic the "misinformation" called the "Great Replacement Theory" is.

It is a staple of the thinkpieces we are treated to about how awful conservatives are.

Now The New York Times comes out and says, "Sure the Establishment is trying to reshape the American population, but that is a GOOD thing!"

In a story about the massive push to naturalize legal immigrants into the United States, The New York Times accidentally dropped a truth bomb. It is called a "Kinsley Gaffe," where a politician, prominent person, or outlet accidentally tells an inconvenient truth. It's the sort of thing that gets your attention!

The federal government is processing citizenship requests at the fastest clip in a decade, moving rapidly through a backlog that built up during the Trump administration and the coronavirus pandemic.

At ceremonies in courthouses, convention centers and sports arenas across the country, thousands of immigrants are becoming new Americans every week — and becoming eligible to vote in time for the presidential election this fall.

It’s unclear how many of the new voters live in battleground states, but a number of the states where Kamala Harris or Donald Trump must win have large and growing numbers of voting-age naturalized citizens, including Georgia, Arizona, Nevada and Pennsylvania.

In Savannah, Ga., people from 19 countries streamed into a federal courthouse recently to take the oath of allegiance.

“My case was done in less than six months,” said Gladis Brown, who is married to an American and emigrated from Honduras in 2018.

Generally, lawful permanent residents, known as green-card holders, are eligible to become naturalized citizens if they have had that status for at least five years, or have been married to a U.S. citizen for at least three years.

Green-card holders have many of the same rights as citizens. But voting in federal elections is a right accorded only to citizens. And that can be a powerful motivation to pursue citizenship, especially when big national elections are on the horizon.

In other words they are admitting that the Biden administration is making an all-out push to add millions of foreigners to the voting rolls. The Times even quotes somebody saying it outright.

“The surge in naturalization efficiency isn’t just about clearing backlogs; it’s potentially reshaping the electorate, merely months before a pivotal election,” said Xiao Wang, chief executive of Boundless, a company that uses government data to analyze immigration trends and that offers services to immigrants who seek professional help in navigating the application process.

Every citizenship application could be a vote that decides Senate seats or even the presidency,” Mr. Wang said.

At under five months, application processing speed is now on a par with 2013 and 2014. About 3.3 million immigrants have become citizens during President Biden’s time in office, with less than two months to go before the close of the 2024 fiscal year.

I should be clear that I love immigrants who become citizens. They are among the hardest-working and most patriotic Americans and make up a disproportionate number of entrepreneurs. I have developed a strong preference for specialists trained in India because I have found them (in my anecdotal experience) to be thorough, articulate, and confidence-inspiring. I never think about their politics because they clearly bring much to the country and my own life.

But somebody sure is thinking about politics and likely shaping the demographics of who is let in, who goes to the front of the line in naturalization, and they are certainly thinking about counting votes in swing states and districts. Adding 3.3 million voters to the rolls in swing districts certainly can have a major impact on the election.

I have seen similar things even in local politics, where mayors and city councils declare areas to be blighted when they are not, or slate them for future development and use threats of condemnation to reduce housing prices and drive people out. I call it "upgrading your citizens" in moments of cynicism.

As birthrates among Americans native to this land crater the federal government is making a huge push to bring in people from the third world, both legally and illegally. It really is about replacing the current population with one they prefer.

And The New York Times just reported that in the most casual manner possible.
