'Ridiculous:' Local Law Enforcement in Butler Strike Back at Secret Service Director; UPDATED!

Earlier today, I wrote about what I believed to be the planned incompetence of the Secret Service's "protection" of Donald Trump.

Among other things, it's obvious to me that interim Director of the Secret Service Rowe is exactly the wrong man to investigate and fix the failures of the agency because he was the man in charge of ensuring Trump's safety as the Deputy Director in charge of protection.

Testifying before Congress yesterday he obfuscated, deflected, angrily attacked Senators, and most of all, blamed local law enforcement for the failures that got a man killed, others gravely wounded, and President Trump shot in the head

It was the locals' fault? The Secret Service didn't meet with the local snipers on the day of the rally--they blew a scheduled meeting off! The Secret Service was warned by the locals that a man with a gun was on the roof and sent an armed response, and the Secret Service ignored the warning and allowed Trump on stage.

Local law enforcement officials in Pennsylvania are beyond angry about the Secret Service Director, who told Congress that HE DIDN'T IMAGINE THAT PEOPLE WANTED TO HARM THE PROTECTEES--he actually said that, blamed them. If the Secret Service can't imagine that their protectees are in danger, what exactly is the point of having them? Theater?

(NewsNation) — Local law enforcement in Butler, Pennsylvania, is firing back against comments made by acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe in a joint Senate committee regarding the attempt on former President Donald Trump’s life.

Rowe criticized the local authorities for a communications breakdown between agencies protecting the former president. But Pat Young, the chief of detectives for Beaver County who was tasked with securing the area around Trump’s rally, said they had no communication with the federal authorities that day.

“Somehow, that we should have had a line of sight on not only the crowd but the area to the side of the building where the shooter was eventually located is kind of ridiculous,” Young told NewsNation. “The ability to redeploy to another area is also kind of this ridiculous notion that’s out there that somehow our guys, despite guidance from Secret Service, could somehow relocate to a better vantage point is almost laughable in some regards.”

Young insists that it was his team that spotted the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, roughly an hour before the actual shooting took place. He said they raised it up the chain of command, and said what happens beyond that is up to the Secret Service.

This is absurd. Director Rowe abjectly apologized to Congress that this happened, but he blamed others, was in charge when resources were denied to the Trump protective detail, and likely had a role himself in making that decision. He won't say, simply stating there was a "process."

What crap.

Rowe shouldn't just be fired; he should be investigated for complicity in what increasingly looks like a plot to put President Trump at risk of assassination.

We've learned that the assassin flew a drone hours before the shooting. Rowe says that the Secret Service couldn't for some reason. A technical failure?

Hard to believe. A kid could do it but not the Secret Service?

There are too many unanswered questions, and both the FBI and the Secret Service keep pleading ignorance and a need to investigate weeks after the shooting. They can't answer the most basic questions, which means that they WON'T answer them. It is impossible to believe that they don't know why posts were abandoned. That is not exactly rocket science to figure out. There is no deep psychological profile needed.

All it requires is asking the people assigned to be there. Same with most other questions, which aren't complicated.

I'm sure there are complicated questions that require deep investigation, but not basic ones about whether the command post didn't listen to the radio communications. Where are the recordings of comms? If they really weren't recorded, why and how was that remotely possible in this day and age?

And why is the Secret Service deleting emails from their servers?

And don't forget, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is the boss of all these people, and he is one of the worst people in government and a political hack.

We are in the midst of one of the biggest coverups in decades. Two, actually, because we already know the Establishment covered up the fact that the freaking President of the United States is incapable of doing even the most basic functions of his job.

Will the Establishment stop at nothing to protect its power?

It sure seems not. We need answers.

UPDATE: There is video of him on the roof shot from the grandstands behind Trump.
