Yesterday, everybody was talking about how Google was memory-holing the Trump assassination attempt. I wrote about that effort earlier today, and Google kinda sorta apologized when caught.
This…is…insane.

@Google is engaged in active election interference.
They are gas-lighting the American people & trying to erase the attempted assassination of Trump. pic.twitter.com/g2h8DzkDON
Today, Google is at it again, this time manipulating its search results to push news sources and stories that favor Kamala Harris--when you are searching for Donald Trump.
Look for Donald Trump, get news stories about Kamala Harris and how great she is and how Trump is being mean to her. The first result is The New Republic.
No kidding. Look up Donald Trump. The first story is about how he is freaking out about Kamala.
Google insists they are not manipulating the results, and that is so obviously a lie that it hardly bears mentioning. This sort of thing does not happen by accident.
If you look up Kamala Harris, you get pure Kamala Harris to begin with, then another set of stories that--I kid you not--attack Elon Musk for sharing a parody video. They claim it is a deep fake, when it is an obvious parody. Sort of like how Snopes "fact-checked" a Babylon Bee headline.
Google manipulates results all the time, just as "fact-checkers" spend all their time attacking Republicans. It is all about using their power to shape the Narrative™ to rig things to the benefit of the left.
Google will assure you that they have no political agenda at all. They only care about giving a factual presentation of what is out there on the internet.
Yeah, sure. Whatever.

Here are the companies which have donated the most to each candidates' campaign committee so far this cycle.
Google is at the top of the list.
Will be posting updates as donations ramp up. pic.twitter.com/Ge5wtISxDj
In my earlier piece, one of the commenters shrugged and said, "I just use Duck Duck Go," and that people who don't seek out alternatives to Google are lazy and stupid.
I get the point, but I don't agree. Google has more than 90% of the search market, and YouTube is the #1 ranked website. Google, in other words, owns much of the mindshare of the world. It can control the flow of information to a great extent.
Our readers are outside the mainstream, by definition, and get a more complete view of the world because they read more widely than most people. Google isn't trying to brainwash you--just control the world in which you and I live. Their goal is to brainwash enough people to control the world, and they are doing a very good job of it.

Of course, the brainwashing breaks down a bit when conditions get bad enough--you can't convince people that gas is cheaper than it is--but they still own much of the culture. It's why the transinsanity is still spreading in the United States and why Kamala Harris became a sudden internet sensation after getting in the race.
Obviously, that wasn't organic. It was created. It's all part of the brainwashing effort.
They should mix up the propaganda more. This is way too obvious.

Just like when they were parroting before the debate that Biden was “sharp as a tack” 🤣 https://t.co/UZRUVM0Q7z
Weird, huh?
If it weren't for Twitter, all this would go under the radar. It's not like everybody is checking on how Google is manipulating things; but somebody, somewhere on Twitter, will pick it up and it will get amplified.
This is why the left is at war with Elon Musk. They desperately want control of Twitter because it is one of the few places where a counternarrative can be built and spread.
Still, sanity is a niche product right now.
