Biden Calls Speaker Johnson "Dead on Arrival." Twice.

Was this a threat?

It sure sounded like a threat, although coming from Joe Biden, it could be an emotional outburst characteristic of senility or just the senile ramblings of a very old and confused man.

But honestly? I think it was a threat of some kind. At least it was turning up the emotional heat to 100.

Biden's threat came in a tarmac exchange with a reporter about Biden's Supreme Court "reform" proposal, in which the Vegetable in Chief tries to demonstrate that he is a bold, with-it reformer who will still be pushing big things during the waning months of his campaign.

Speaker Johnson has said that Biden's assault on the Court would be dead on arrival in the House of Representatives, and Biden was asked about that.

Biden's response: he (Speaker Johnson), is dead on arrival.

When asked to clarify, Biden repeated the words, referring specifically to Johnson, and then grinned.

Republicans, and specifically Trump, keep getting tagged with the accusation that we are inciting political violence, but after years of insinuations that Trump is literally Hitler reborn and wants to take down American democracy, a crazed assassin tried to kill Trump. In the aftermath, Democrats and the mainstream media tried to blame Trump for a climate of violence, questioned whether Trump really was shot, and now Biden is declaring open season on the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Really. He did that.

Anybody who is familiar with the ways senility manifests knows that emotional dysregulation is a common symptom. I have had direct experience with this phenomenon, in which an elderly relative literally got violent with a loved one. It was very difficult to see, and obviously, it was difficult to blame them, given their condition.

But there it is. When one is going senile, one loses control over emotions, and often especially anger.

Do I think Biden is going to send out hit squads to take out Johnson? No, I don't. I also don't think that any reasonable government employee would do the deed. Mitch Rapp is not going to shoot Speaker Johnson, although some crazed Biden supporter might snap and do it.

However, Biden should not be president of the United States. He does not have the emotional or intellectual capability to do the job or to properly safeguard the United States. Do we really want somebody this intellectually crippled in charge of the greatest and most powerful military in the world?

Obviously not. He should be removed immediately. He should already have been removed, and rumor has it that it was the threat of removal that finally convinced him to get out of the race for president. It should have happened then.

Simply put, no president should put a target on the back of his political opposition. This isn't Venezuela, even if Kamala Harris seems to think it should be.
