Yesterday the Democrat Establishment ramped up its war against Joe Biden, and with good reason.
But not with good sense. Biden is pissed. Really pissed.
After weeks of hints, then leaks, then open statements, now the Democrats are engaged in full-fledged hoaxes to get Biden out of the presidential race.
The hoax? "insiders" leaked that Biden was dropping out of the presidential race, was preparing a speech to be delivered Sunday, and would refuse to endorse Kamala Harris for the nomination.

As soon as I saw this I knew it was a hoax, and one being perpetrated by Biden's opponents trying to force him out of the race.

As the Republican Party has come together, the Democrat Party remains on the path of total self-destruction. It has gotten so bad that the Establishment is using the same tactics against Biden that they have used against Donald Trump.
The Biden team is not amused. At all.
“Our campaign is not working through any scenarios where President Biden is not the top of the ticket,” Quentin Fulks, principal deputy campaign manager told reporters in Milwaukee on Thursday.
“He is and will be the Democratic nominee,” said Fulks.
Later Thursday, a source close to Biden pushed back at the top Democrats pressuring for the president to bow out.
“Can we all just remember for a minute that these same people who are trying to push Joe Biden out are the same people who literally gave us all Donald Trump?” the source told NBC News.
“In 2015, Obama, Pelosi, Schumer pushed Biden aside in favor of Hillary; they were wrong then and they are wrong now,” the source said.
That source also noted how polls in 2016 showed the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee Hillary Clinton leading Trump by as much as 9 percentage points.
“How did all this work out for everyone in 2016?” the source said, referring to Trump’s victory that year.

The West Wing fantasies the Establishment is indulging in are ridiculous. Biden dropping out and throwing the convention into a free-for-all is even worse than Biden resigning and handing things over to Kamala Harris.

The only thing unifying the Democrat Party right now is wanting to replace Biden. Few want Kamala other than the identity politics crowd, the Israel-Hamas war divides the party, the economic populists hate the donors, and nobody but the donors like the moderates.
