Whew! I was worried until I saw this!

Good thing Anthony Fauci has never gotten it wrong or lied to us in the past, or else I would be skeptical about his diagnosis that President Biden is ready and raring to go to have a successful second term as president.

Aside from last Thursday's debate there is absolutely, positively zero credible evidence that Biden is anything other than perfectly fit and mentally capable to perform the job of being leader of the free world and in charge of thousands of nuclear weapons. 

Zero evidence.

You might even say that Biden is "safe and effective" as president. 

Olivia Nuzzi of New York Magazine must be lying when she recounts her experiences and those of everyone she knows who has interacted with Biden:

Who was actually in charge? Nobody knew. But surely someone was in charge? And surely there must be a plan, since surely this situation could not endure? I heard these questions posed at cocktail parties on the coasts but also at MAGA rallies in Middle America. There emerged a comical overlap between the beliefs of the nation’s most elite liberal Biden supporters and the beliefs of the most rabid and conspiratorial supporters of former President Trump. Resistance or QAnon, they shared a grand theory of America in 2024: There has to be a secret group of high-level government leaders who control Biden and who will soon set into motion their plan to replace Biden as the Democratic presidential nominee. Nothing else made sense. They were in full agreement.

Nuzzi related how reporters would joke about how alive Biden was after an appearance:

Exiting the room after the photo, the group of reporters — not instigated by me, I should note — made guesses about how dead he appeared to be, percentage wise. “Forty percent?” one of them asked.

As stories come pouring out about how everybody around Biden secretly knew that he was mentally failing, Anthony Fauci is doing what he does best: lying. In a perfect Anthony Fauci fashion, no amount of countervailing evidence will prevent him from asserting the objectively false. As long as he has a narrative to push, he will push it. 

Perhaps Fauci simply hasn't gotten the memo yet: do a 180 on Biden's mental capacities as you did with the wisdom of masking in 2020. A new Narrative is being pushed out.

He's still stuck on the "it was a cold" meme. That is so 3 days ago. We've even moved beyond 'jet lag," I think. Now it is lack of adequate sleep.

Anthony Fauci may not be any good at public health, but he is an uncommonly good liar. He has convinced over a hundred million people that he is The Science™, and they worship him as nearly a god. 

But even Dr. Fauci himself is unlikely to have the juice to save Joe Biden. During the pandemic he had the most powerful allies in the world: the mainstream media. 

This time around they are like rats jumping off a sinking ship. They may not attack good ol' Tony, but I doubt they will back him up.
