Guess Who Is Funding 'Body Positivity' Movement...

If you guessed "Big Pharma," you would be right.

At this point, you almost have to assume that any social media movement is being pushed for a base motive, just as you have to assume until evidence proves otherwise that any racist incident is a hoax. It is all about gaining social, political, or monetary capital.

Right or wrong, good or bad, just or unjust, or even healthy or unhealthy have nothing to do with any of these movements. It's all about getting yours and screwing everybody else.

You may be somewhat surprised to learn that there even IS an "Obesity Action Coalition," but that is because you are an ordinary person who doesn't think about creating a fake grassroots group to collect zillions of dollars to push an evil agenda.

I have written a few times about the "Body Positivity" movement and how evil I think it is. I don't say this because I have an abnormal disgust for fat people--I am fat myself, although I would like not to be. I need to get on that.

I hate "Body Positivity" because being obese is unhealthy, even deadly, and the entire movement is based on selling people deadly lies. If you think that promoting smoking cigarettes is evil, you should really despise the Body Positivity movement because morbid obesity will kill people more quickly and surely than smoking kills. Smokers could live decades without being killed by the habit--my grandfather died in his late 80s after smoking unfiltered Pall Malls all his life--but any truly morbidly obese person is going to keel over decades early.

Big Pharma, though, is apparently funding this movement, presumably because morbidly obese people can be very profitable.

The world’s top pharmaceutical companies raking record profits from the latest generation of obesity drugs are bankrolling a group behind the contemporary phenomenon of “health at every size.”

A new report and database published by Baron Public Affairs last month outlines pharmaceutical sponsorships for trade organizations promoting obesity as a chronic disease warranting health care coverage rather than a preventable symptom of underlying metabolic dysfunction. One such group with funding from major drug manufacturers Novo Nordisk, Eli Lilly, and Boehringer Ingelheim is the Obesity Action Coalition (OAC), an organization at the center of the far-left movement for “body positivity.”

This is JUST PLAIN EVIL.

The Body Positivity movement has been killing people, and by that I mean that they are literally killing people. In just the past year four "influencers" in this movement have keeled over dead, and yet magazines, podcasters, activists, and "influencers" are all claiming that you can be "healthy at any size."

No, you can't, and telling people otherwise is not benign; it is evil.

I have been mulling over writing a post about this movement again, as it is poison. I found this article where one fat influencer attacks another for wanting to lose weight, but it was so disgusting I wasn't sure if I could go through with the post.

Wut?

Have you ever seen a social media post that punched you right in the gut? Another body positive influencer turned anti-fat mean girl is out here serving luke-warm takes in the New Year. I’m not shocked. This is happening with frequency, now. I think it’s because we’re all aging into our 30’s and as our bones creak and muscles tense, we’re discovering our internalized ableism. Well, some of us are discovering and interrogating our internalized ableism. Others have chosen to use their mobility challenges as motivation to rekindle that old flame with Mr. Shame. A rose by any other name still smells like you think less of fat and disabled people, folks.

Well, random influencer #9, guess what? I can’t wipe my own ass, either. I haven’t been able to “make the reach” since 2020, when we were all first sent home for the pandemic and I relied solely on my bidet. What can I say, I literally went nowhere. I lost my ability to reach and in all honesty, haven’t quite found my way fully back yet. I haven’t spoken super publicly about this, but I’ve written about my experience with this particular challenge over the years on my Patreon. My friends and family know, and for the most part they all have bidet attachments in their homes, too. And now it’s finally time to say it loud and proud, I don’t wipe my ass!

This is where we are, and the PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY is helping fund this crap, pun intended.

Celebrating self-destruction is very on-brand for movements these days, but we have to fight back. Not because we hate fat people or other groups, but because we love them as fellow human beings.

Big Pharma is exploiting this movement, knowing that most people who get fat will need drug after drug to survive, and will eventually decide that wiping their own ass is a good thing, and get a weight loss drug. It is a cash cow, just as the alphabet movement is.

This is demonic.
