It's dirty, but neither little nor really a secret: pandemic-era policies in Western countries were a total disaster.
We all know beyond any doubt that the non-pharmaceutical interventions that were claimed to slow the transmission of the virus were not just scientifically unfounded (contra Dr. Fauci, of course), but also that hundreds of millions of people paid a very high price for negative benefits.
Economic damage, mental health decline, learning loss, and the cratering in social trust are only some of the prices paid to implement these useless and tyrannical policies.
None of it worked. In fact, the evidence is clear that even in purely medical terms the damage was horrendous.

The virus has mutated to less lethal strains, but the excess deaths continue. And no, it's not COVID side effects killing people. The more that genuine scientists, rather than Scientists™, study the problem, the more damaging the results. People are dying in large numbers, and we don't have clear answers as to why.
One thing we do know, though, is that the highest excess deaths corresponded with the rollout of the vaccines, and as fewer people consent to injecting this Frankenstein's concoction fewer people are mysteriously dying.

Is that a coincidence? Nothing is proven, save the fact that vaccines certainly didn't help reduce morbidity and mortality in society. It is likely that vaccines helped some fraction of people who took them, reducing the severity of the disease in severely ill people, on balance the health of society as a whole got worse.
I would compare that effect to chemotherapy, which in isolated cases (people with certain cancers) it is better than the alternative, but giving the entire population chemo is probably not a smart idea.
Of course, this analogy may not hold. There are lots of possible reasons for the reduction in the overall health and well-being of the population, and the vaccine is likely only one of many factors. But the evidence is mounting that it is a factor, and even if it isn't a large contributor to the excess deaths, it certainly didn't prevent them.
Covid vaccines could be partly to blame for the rise in excess deaths since the pandemic, scientists have suggested.
Researchers from The Netherlands analysed data from 47 Western countries and discovered there had been more than three million excess deaths since 2020, with the trend continuing despite the rollout of vaccines and containment measures.
They said the “unprecedented” figures “raised serious concerns” and called on governments to fully investigate the underlying causes, including possible vaccine harms.
Writing in the BMJ Public Health, the authors from Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, said: “Although Covid-19 vaccines were provided to guard civilians from suffering morbidity and mortality by the Covid-19 virus, suspected adverse events have been documented as well.
“Both medical professionals and citizens have reported serious injuries and deaths following vaccination to various official databases in the Western World.”
They added: “During the pandemic, it was emphasised by politicians and the media on a daily basis that every Covid-19 death mattered and every life deserved protection through containment measures and Covid-19 vaccines. In the aftermath of the pandemic, the same moral should apply.”
The study found that across Europe, the US and Australia there had been more than one million excess deaths in 2020, at the height of the pandemic, but also 1.2 million in 2021 and 800,000 and 2022 after measures were implemented.
Researchers said the figure included deaths from Covid-19, but also the “indirect effects of the health strategies to address the virus spread and infection”.
They warned that side effects linked to the Covid vaccine had included ischaemic stroke, acute coronary syndrome and brain haemorrhage, cardiovascular diseases, coagulation, haemorrhages, gastrointestinal events and blood clotting.

Of course not. We are, as with gender ideology, being lied to by both the scientific establishment and the media. They are stringing this out as long as possible to avoid accountability.
And that is a good strategy, too. This is the modified limited hangout strategy. Let bits and pieces of the truth come out, string things out, obfuscate, and hope that it gets too complex and too old a story to have anybody pay the price.
Look at the Fauci hearings from Monday. Fauci lied constantly, the Democrats covered for him, the media did a bit of a dance, and things move along. Even if Jim Jordan referred Fauci to the Justice Department for his OBVIOUS perjury it will disappear into the void. Do you think a Biden Justice Department will prosecute?
Or, for that matter, a Trump one? I have my doubts.
Books will be written in the 2030s about what a fiasco this is, but the authors of the fiasco themselves will be rich, respected, and rewarded for their mendacity and murderousness.
Those of us who were right will not be rewarded either. Being wrong at the right time gains you riches; being right at the wrong time makes you a despised rebel.
The Establishment almost always wins.
