I have to say that I am a bit proud of this: I appear to be the author most demonetized by Big Tech here at HotAir. 

Guess who comes in second? My good friend Beege. 

I wish I could say that this is down solely to our presenting a grave political threat to the regime, but the answer is simpler: we write the most on Climate Change, COVID, and Alphabet ideology. Those are the hottest of the hot-button issues for the establishment. 

It's not so much that they are targeting me or Beege; it's just that we like to poke the bear at its most sensitive spots. 

You know you are over the target when you are taking flak, and given the data I have been shown, all of us here at HotAir are over the target. The amount of flak being aimed at us is blackening the sky. 

Big Tech hates us and demonetizes us regularly, as they do to most authors in the Townhall Media family of sites. It is the easiest way they have to shape the narrative. 

Demonetizing our articles is a smart tactic on their part: It costs us money to produce our content, and if they penalize us for discussing certain topics, they hope to steer our coverage. 

Write this, and you get more money; write that, and it costs you. 

Unfortunately for them, we don't play that game. We say what we mean, mean what we say, and talk about issues that matter to you. It's not the most profitable business model, but we are on a mission as well as being a business. 

But we are a business, and you make it possible for us to tell the truth. When few others would speak the truth about COVID, we stood up and took a hit to our profits to spread the word. The same is true when it comes to cultural issues. And global warming. And green energy. And transing the kids. 

These days, using the wrong pronouns or calling a transwoman a "man" can cost you real money and the ability to reach people, but we refuse to bend the knee to the Alphabet people. 

We can stay true to our principles and stay in business because of you, and specifically because of our VIP members who provide a reliable income stream despite the censorship.
