If An Illegal Alien Shoots a Trans Illegal Sexworker, Is It a Crime? Liberals Say No

This story is going to be memory-holed ASAP. It breaks the Narrative™ into tiny little pieces, grinds them up in a blender, and the dust spelled out INSANITY in glowing letters.

Hence it will be buried.

Only in America could a violent, illegal alien gang member get to go on a violent crime spree only to be patted on the back and sent on his way with a wink and a nod. He can even commit a hate crime against the most protected class in America--a transgender sex worker--and the Soros DA lets him go without a moment's thought.

If he didn't, maybe ICE might be able to deport him or something.

Had he been a rural White American, the President of the United States himself would be shouting his name and calling for MAGA blood. Rural White Rage is a thing, but not illegal alien gang violence

Early one mild morning last month, a transgender woman who recently migrated from Venezuela was waiting for a ride outside a Little Village nightclub when a driver pulled up and made an ominous remark in Spanish.

“Bad gay,” he allegedly said before firing three shots at the woman around 4:30 a.m. on Feb. 4. She was struck in the groin and both legs and left in critical condition, according to Chicago police records.

She later told investigators that she and her friends had been partying at VLive, 2501 S. Kedzie Ave., a club she described as a meeting ground for new arrivals from Venezuela. A witness also recounted the attack to police, records show.

Detectives began investigating the shooting as a hate crime and eventually homed in on a suspect — a 29-year-old Venezuelan man who was linked to a drug cartel by federal authorities.

With the help of a U.S. Marshals fugitive task force, officers took him into custody on Feb. 26 as he left a courthouse in west suburban Maywood.

He had been arrested two days earlier in Austin and hit with a list of charges, including felonies for illegally possessing a gun and ammunition, court records show. After a judge ordered him released that day, police records show he was quickly arrested again and brought in for questioning.

While he had been identified as the gunman and police had recovered key evidence — including a shell casing and video of the Ford Explorer used in the attack — Cook County prosecutors wouldn’t bring charges.

Before I go any further, it should be noted that the tweet above was wrong: the victim survived and identified the attacker but, under threat from the cartel, later declined to cooperate with prosecutors.

None of these incidents would have happened if Joe Biden had been serious about protecting the border, ICE was serious about deporting criminals, or the Cook County DA's office had been serious about fighting crime.

None of these people are serious, though. Or rather, their seriousness is directed at protecting the wrong people. Cartel members are invited to roam the streets unhindered while the rest of us are told we need to be more compassionate and understanding and enjoy the strength that our increasing diversity is bringing us.

How many felonies does an illegal alien need to commit? If he had committed a misdemeanor on January 6th a SWAT team could show up at his door 3 years later; shooting a person on the street after committing multiple felonies gets you a "get out of jail free" card.

It really is that simple, it seems. It's not what you do; it's who you are. And apparently, being a drug cartel member from Venezuela here illegally provides immunity from prosecution in this country.

In a cruel irony, the Chicago Sun-Times took umbrage at the facts that the Marshal's service used politically incorrect language and that "right-wing" news outlets reported what the Marshal's service said: “an illegal migrant from Venezuela and an alleged cartel member.”

Those are bad words, you know. It's much worse than shooting a person in the groin and legs, putting them in critical condition.

You can't make this crap up. The reporters actually went out of their way to criticize conservatives about their reporting on this case, which, for them, is somehow worse than a repeat felon shooting up Chicago without punishment.

It saddens me to see our great American cities knowingly choose to commit suicide like this. No matter how compassionate you want to be about the plight of "refugees," it is impossible for a sane person to view a drug cartel member with a penchant for shooting people in the groin as a victim in need of help.

Yet in the twisted logic of the Left, this person is more worthy of defense and succor than any American citizen.
