Is It Racism to Notice That We Are Importing Enemies?

The immigration crisis at the Southern border has gotten so severe that even Democrats in Deep Blue areas have noticed it.

Mainly because it is hitting them in the pocketbooks, but still...it's progress.

But many people have yet to absorb the reality that the West faces a much bigger problem than the raw numbers of migrants streaming across our borders in both the United States and the European Union--and that problem is large enough, given how it is creating fiscal and social strains that threaten to break the budgets of many cities and the social cohesion in many more.

That problem is easy to see, if you look: we are importing large numbers of people who hate us with a passion.

In the halcyon days of the 1980s and 90s most illegal immigrants coming to the US were Latin Americans looking for a better life. We could argue about the economic impact of such large numbers of migrants, their disproportionate impact on lower-wage workers, and how many migrants are too many for a country like ours to absorb.

But generally speaking, the mostly Mexican migrants posed little threat to our country or our society. They wanted to grab the American Dream, not subvert it.

Now, across the Western World, countries are being flooded with both legal and illegal migrants who hate the West and all we stand for and make no bones about their desire to destroy our countries and take them over. They don't share the same values, don't like who we are, don't respect our laws, and are quite explicit about wanting to remake our societies in their image.

We keep hearing about "asylum" seekers, but if you look around you, it sure looks like a huge percentage of the people coming to our countries are bringing the problems they are "fleeing" with them. There is little to no attempt to adapt to and adopt the values of the countries that have welcomed them. Instead, the migrants have made it perfectly clear that it is our responsibility to provide them with food, housing, health care, and fresh victims for their unsavory desires.

The Western world's streets are filled with protesters wearing kaffiyas, shouting Islamist slogans, carrying Hamas flags, and shouting antisemitic slurs.

How does this make our society better in any way? And if it doesn't make our society better, then shouldn't our leaders prevent it? After all, they are the ones making it happen.

Still, leaders throughout the West keep telling us that our real problems are things like microaggressions, White Supremacy, racism, and Islamophobia. It is as if they have either no idea what is happening or they approve of it.

Countries that have welcomed asylum seekers with open arms are beginning to regret it, but it is difficult to see what can or will be done as long as our Elites refuse to stand up for our citizens. Countries like Sweden, which used to be seen as almost a utopia, have problems with rapes, organized crime, and bombings. Asylum seekers view their hosts as piggy banks, not as benefactors to whom they own thanks.

The underlying problem is that our Elites have adopted an ideology that endorses the view that Western values are inferior to those of other cultures, or at the very least, they believe that all cultural values are of equal worth.

That is not only insane--after all, the very idea of human rights that underlies asylum claims is very Western--it is also inconsistent. If all value systems are equal, then why not defend ours and allow others to live under their own, where they came from?

Is it too much to ask that if somebody chooses to live in the West they adopt our values?

For decades the British have actively covered up what they call "Asian Rape Gangs," which is a euphemism for migrants from misogynist Islamic countries. Refusing to recognize the problem and, at the very least, aggressively police and immediately deport violators, is insane. Yet, it does not happen, and the problem continues and the influx of migrants continues apace.

If you notice these problems and speak up, the Left immediately shouts "Racism." The problem isn't race but culture. That many people committing these crimes and attacking our cultures are not White is utterly irrelevant; it is their behavior, not their skin color, that matters.

Great Britain's two leading contenders for the leadership of the Tories aren't White, but they are very British. Sunak might well lose his spot as Prime Minister, but that is because he is too liberal, not too dark. Braverman is winning plaudits because she stands up for British values.

Unfortunately, only a few Western leaders are willing to stand up for Western values. Most either fear being called racist or believe that our societies are better off importing masses of people who don't share our values or particularly like us.

Social trust is fraying in the West, and social trust has been one of our greatest assets. Without it our societies will collapse and become more like the third-world ratholes from which these migrants are fleeing.

Ordinary people understand this, but our leaders don't appear to, or at least they don't care.
