Want to be considered for a top DEI position at The University of Minnesota?

Deny Hamas atrocities, and you just might get on the fast track.

Sima Shakhsari hasn’t gotten the job yet, but the Associate Professor of Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies was very proud of her denials that Hamas committed atrocities in Israel. As part of the application process for the DEI job she gave a speech about the Israel-Hamas conflict:

Sima Shakhsari is an associate professor in the department of Gender, Women and Sexuality Studies, and has been seen on campus attending pro-Palestinian rallies chanting “Globalize the Intifada.” Shakhsari, who uses they/he/she pronouns, also has a long history of aligning with radical groups like Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP).

Shakhsari’s denial that Israeli women were raped by Hamas came during the professor’s testimony last Thursday to the university review panel, part of the application process in being considered for the associate dean of the DEI office in the College of Liberal Arts position.

“I cannot be silenced in the face of this genocide, and I’m not gonna argue whether it’s a genocide or not,” Shakhsari said in a one-hour speech, which almost entirely focused on Israel and Gaza.

In the speech, she volunteered she hadn’t seen any evidence of Hamas’ sexual violence against Israelis — which has been well-documented by testimony from victims, video footage and forensic evidence. “Of course, any person who has been raped, I am a rape crisis counselor, I believe the survivors. I am yet to see Israeli rape survivors of Hamas come and speak,” Shakhsari said.

She is a rape crisis counselor, demanding that women who were gang raped stand up and give speeches about the experience in order to prove their claims.

Nice. I wonder if she asks that of her clients.

Sima Shakhsari isn’t the only hateful University of Minnesota professor to scream her hate while supporting Hamas. Melanie Yazzie, a liberal arts professor, proclaimed her commitment to dismantling America as well as Israel.

A liberal arts professor at the University of Minnesota called for people to “dismantle” and “decolonize” America during a pro-Palestinian event.

Earlier this month, University of Minnesota liberal arts professor Melanie Yazzie took the stage with several other speakers as part of the anti-capitalist Native American advocacy group the Red Nation’s “teach-in” on the Israel-Hamas war.

During the pro-Palestinian event, Yazzie made several controversial comments, including early on when she said she wanted a takeaway from the event to be that “we’re all indigenous people who come from nations who are under occupation by the United States government.”

“And, of course, the U.S. bankrolls the Israeli occupation of Palestinian land,” Yazzie continued. “They’re one and the same, really.”

“So it’s our responsibility as people who are within the United States to go as hard as possible to decolonize this place because that will reverberate all across the world,” Yazzie said. “Because the U.S. is the greatest predator empire that has ever existed.”

Guess who pays their salaries? The State of Minnesota with a major boost from US government subsidies.

In other words, you, the very people they hate so much.

The “decolonization” movement is poison, and it is a poison that wouldn’t have a platform without huge subsidies from the government. The entire higher education establishment, as well as the public school system that prepares students for academic indoctrination, are bought and paid for by taxpayers.

Even private colleges and universities exist mainly because taxpayers subsidize them. Few schools could survive without government funding. The government almost entirely funds institutions like the Univesity of Minnesota, yet they employ professors who are quite clear that they want to destroy the very state that pays their salary.

The DEI movement is motivated by hatred for the West and aims to indoctrinate the next generation.

We shouldn’t be paying for this. Fire them all.
