By the end of Biden’s first term somewhere around 8 million illegal aliens will cross American borders and fan out around the country.

Even some Democrats, now that they are forced to deal with the actual consequences, have stopped virtue signaling and started complaining about the invasion. Eric Adams, who little more than a year ago was loudly proclaiming his pride in the sanctuary status of his city is now crying uncle, demanding action.

The scale of the influx is unprecedented, and the dangers it poses are clear. Americans are dropping like flies from fentanyl overdoses, our cities are spending billions on food and housing, and literal terrorists have been smuggled into the country. Tens of thousands of unaccompanied children have been lost, and at least that many are working illegally to pay off the drug cartels who are threatening their families back home.

Strange that there is almost no legacy media coverage of this.

If you follow the mainstream media you would get no sense that there is a crisis. Sure, immigration is one of many issues that get coverage, but we are constantly lectured that Donald Trump is the greatest threat to our democracy.

One of the constants in our lives is that if a Republican points out a Democrat failure they are “pouncing.” When a Republican screws up that is the issue; when a Democrat screws up Republicans are the issue.

It takes no genius to recognize that the line that the Biden administration is pushing is complete BS. The vast majority of the illegal immigrants crossing into the United States are young men, not families with children. These young men are being dumped into the streets of border cities, never to be seen again.

UPDATE: The Maverick County Sheriff confirms to FOX the victim is a U.S. citizen. A 40-year-old male from Houston. Not offering details on how it happened, other than there was a "struggle" and victim was found dead at a house in Eagle Pass with blunt force injuries to the head.

The MSM expends no effort in pressing the administration to explain its policies. Karine Jean-Pierre at the White House and Alejandro Mayorkas at Homeland Security declared that the “border is secure,” and that is good enough for them.

Thousands of people A DAY are marching into our country, and in many cases, border patrol agents will literally open gates to escort them into the country. The Biden administration is fighting in court to prevent Texas from protecting its borders, siding against Americans.

At the same time Democrats are simultaneously passing laws to give driver’s licenses to illegal aliens and, unsurprisingly, to automatically register people to vote when they get driver’s licenses. Is this a coincidence? Of course not. Opening our borders, giving free food and housing, not to mention cash to the illegals who rush in is the official policy of the United States, and at the same time Democrat governors are screaming about making voting easier and automatically registering people to vote.

Our MSM loudly proclaims its commitment to defending democracy, but it is clear that what it really means is ensuring that Democrats win every election possible.

One irony that is impossible to ignore is that many of the people fleeing to the United States are fleeing Venezuela, a country once celebrated by the Left as a shining example of a people’s democracy. Remember all the celebrities who traveled to embrace Chavez? Hugo Chavez ruined the country and Maduro is finishing the job.

Democrats may no longer point to Venezuela as a model, but it sure looks like they want to duplicate the political trajectory.

It is the media, though, who bear much of the blame–perhaps more than the Democrats themselves. Democrats get away with these policies only because the media agitates in favor of them, covers up their crimes, and lies about their opposition. Millions of Americans of goodwill still honestly believe that Trump colluded with Russia, that there is no evidence that Biden is corrupt, and that Republicans are nothing but a group of White Supremacists bent on bringing the Third Reich to America.
