The British police don't seem to know what a woman is

Two criminal cases from Great Britain popped up in my feeds today that were striking, and both had to do with how countries in the UK describe criminals.

And, in both cases, the descriptions don’t just matter because of some fetish for accuracy, or because of my opposition to alphabet ideology. The failure to describe the biology of suspects accurately directly affects the ability of police and the courts to do the jobs for which they exist.

The first is the most obvious and has to do with how suspects who are at large are described. The suspects committed an assault and rape of a teenage boy, whom they beat unconscious and left unconscious and naked.

A teenage boy who was sexually assaulted by two women woke up with his clothes removed and injuries to his head and body, Sussex Police have said.

The 15-year-old was walking along Cants Lane in Burgess Hill before heading through a wooded area towards World’s End at about 18:15 BST on 4 June.

He was assaulted and woke up on the floor, police said.

Both women were between 18 and 20 years old, one being 6ft 3in (1.9m) tall and with bright dyed red hair.

She was wearing blue shorts and black crop top with pink Air Jordan trainers, and had glasses, a police spokesman said.

The other was about 5ft 9in (1.75m) tall with long white blonde hair and spoke with a Merseyside accent.

I cannot be absolutely certain, but it is almost certainly the case that the perpetrators were two men dressed as women, and because the police presume them to be transgender they have described the suspect as “women.”

Why do I believe they were transgender? A few reasons: 1) almost no women in the UK come close to 6’3″, or even 5’9″. I looked this up and a 6’3″ woman is in the 99.997th percentile of height in the UK. The average height of a woman in the UK is 5’3″; 2) women who sexually assault people rarely use direct violence, and knocking out a man to sexually abuse him is for most cases…counterproductive, although there are forms of sexual abuse of men that do not require consciousness.

From all this, I conclude that it is extremely likely that the perpetrators were men dressed as women, and I will write a correction should this turn out to be wrong.

In any case, we do know that if the perpetrators were biological men masquerading as women, the British police will never tell you that. It is against their policies not to misgender, and you can see the problem: they are reducing their chances of catching criminals by fudging the description to be politically correct.

Another case is perhaps more disturbing: a judge is basically letting a pedophile escape prison because the perpetrator is transgender.

There is a special board–no, I am not kidding–that treats transgender offenders differently from offenders who are not transgender. The cases are treated differently, and as you can see criminal acts committed by transgender-identifying people get different treatment.

Tanya Howes, 66, was told by magistrates that the offences “would normally attract immediate custody”.

But they said they had decided to suspend a 12 month jail term, something they conceded was “unusual”.

Howes, who was identified on court documents as female and referred to in court by female pronouns, had previously admitted three charges of possessing indecent images of children, including 39 category A images – the most serious – on February 19, 2020.

She also admitted a separate charge of possessing 100 “grossly offensive” extreme pornographic images and videos on the same date.

Howes, who is understood to have once worked for the prison service, appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court on Tuesday (July 4) to be sentenced.

The case had been adjourned following an application by Norfolk Probation Service for an extension to complete reports, including referring the case to the Transgender Case Board.

This was introduced in 2017 to make decisions about the appropriate location and management of transgender prisoners.

The judge cited as one of the reasons for leniency was the time elapsed from charging to sentencing–except the extra time was requested for the Transgender Case Board.

Geez.

“However, because of the time lag, no reoffending and because probation feel they can rehabilitate you it’s going to be an unusual sentence because we’re going to suspend the sentence.”

Mr Taylor added it did not detract from how serious these matters were with children being “subjected to horrific acts”.

Damien Moore, mitigating, said: “This case has attracted publicity that has inevitably had consequences for her in her personal life.
“It’s very, very clear that she will forever more have to live with the shame and embarrassment that these offences bring upon someone”.

The judge admits outright that the sentence was far outside the norm. It only was given because the perp was transgender.

Not only would any other criminal wind up in jail for possessing photos of infants and children getting raped and tortured, it’s hard to argue that they didn’t deserve much worse. Torture!

There are plenty of other cases–a rapist who identifies as a woman gets the pronoun treatment. So far all that has happened is that “she” was put on the sex offender registry for an as-yet undetermined time and is walking the streets.

But in the modern West, there is a great deal of privilege attached to being a supposedly “oppressed” person–so much so that in fact one is not oppressed, but privileged. Being able to get away with being a pedophilic sicko is apparently one of those privileges, as is being misdescribed in police searches.

Society can’t function like this. Not only is it wrong on its face, but it will be impossible for people to “accept” transgender identities–the supposed goal–if being transgender means not having to play by the rules. People will hate them, and understandably so. Knowing that a class of people can get away with vile crimes due to their self-assigned “identity” means that people will grow to hate them.

This isn’t accommodating dysphoria; this is the elevation of a mental illness to superpower status.
